Would yi look at that, if by magic the early bird period has been extended.
If it gets a few hundred more sold then fair play.

Haven't bought mine and TBH don't really understand what this "buzz" is or why some of the biggest critics seem to have changed their thoughts. Ray's going about his business well enough, but the club have done NOTHING to address the real issues as far as I can see, maybe I've just missed something?

To be fair mate, I don't think u ever said u wouldn't renew. There are plenty others who were either just full of shit or have seen something to change their mind.
Not criticising anyone for getting a ST btw, it's everyone's own choice.

As one of Thompson's biggest critics aswell and wanting him as far away from our club is possible I am deciding to back the team.I wasn't going to get a ST but have decided to do what i think's best. Doesn't mean that I support Thompson in any shape or form.

I would have stuck to my guns but with so many people renewing it was pointless not getting my seat.
Still dont trust ST at all and still can't see what he's done to repair the damage, the fans have bailed him out unfortunately.
We've put the money in not him.

As an aside, I wonder how season tickets many the funsters have sold so far?

With time to spare.
We know some have held back on season tickets or decided not to at all.
Sure we will have a similar home backing. Think the away squad will be tremendous this season.
Last time doon we had some crackin away days. This time I think will be even better especially if clubs and polis allow Bowers and Co's plans to take it up a level or 2!

Way down on two seasons ago, however - 5,500 which was a club record IIRC.

4454 now sold
The 400 free STs given to underprivileged fans this don't seem to have been added to the "sold" total.
This would take the home support to 4854 season tickets but that would annoy the dees who doubt oor wee teams reported figures so this can't be counted or correct or mentioned or thought about or spoken by us or the dayglow media people who favour us over the sleepy giant.

4603 final number sold
Some effort imo and much more than i thought we would get
