I thought Dillon strolled it tonight.
As he should.

Delighted with that result and a great home debut result for Mckinnon.
Refreshing to see us really take a stranglehold of a game and afford ourselves the luxury of being able to take our foot of the gas and replace players earlyish in the match. This will help legs for the trip to the Highlands at the weekend.
When was the last time we scored 6 at Tannadice?

My tongue was firmly in cheek mate.
Should have put a wee smiley or something after it

2nd half I thought Toshney was really impressive, and when Fraser went off Cammy Smith really came onto a game as well.
Willo was superb throughout, and VdV had some sublime touches and passes when he came on, but can he do it on a cold rainy night in Ayr
Chuffed for Simon Murray, if he had some more luck he could have had 6!
I'm a huge Sean Dillon fan but I don't think he should be playing at CB, pains me to say it as he always gives 100%
All in all it was a great game to watch, a good confidence booster for the guys playing tonight, but reality is we will be in for a lot more harder games in the future and I'm sure no one is getting carried away with this one result.

Great win against poor opposition who never threatened our back line too much.
Durnan done what was asked and won a couple of headers etc.
Cammy smith looked brilliant
Toshney looks impressive doesnt look like he will take any shite.
Keeping the ball on the deck and passing about was good stuff shown.

I know it was only cowdenbeath but what a difference it is to have a good football player back in middle of park dictating game like willo flood did last night

Too blotto to post anything last night.
Don't have anything bad to say about any of our players last night. Only negative comment would be toward Fraser who should have passed left to Murray instead of scuffing his own attempt.
Willo "ran aboot like a blue ersed flea", in a positive manner. Must have ran about the length of a marathon last night.
Good to see the home support applauding the Cowdenbeath goal. Heard a couple of their supporters saying thanks to our lads in Sandeman Street.
Van the Man didna get a lot of time on the ball. He came after we were 4-1 up, so our back 4 and mid were dominating the possession. Did enjoy his clever passes tho. Looks promising.
MOM for me was Cammy Smith. Very creative.

We've now got an abundance of creative players now: VDV, Cammy Smith, Fraser Tope, Fraser, JJ, Matty Smith. Who was the boy who used to say someone is going to get a hiding off us one of these days??? Wonder where he is now?

Creative players are good to have but I'd prefer creative players that have a bit of dig about them too. RM wiznae shy and Flood might educate them in this direction too.
Here's hoping. This league demands both qualities if you want to succeed.

I saw Scott Fraser make a tackle on the edge of our box then jump up for a header against a Cowdenbeath player last night within 30 seconds during the second half. Almost had to borrow someones inhaler I was that shocked. Here's hoping there is a bit of fight in us this season.

If they can add fight to Scott Fraser I've hope beyond expectation.
