Mind taking a photo of the cop shop with the neon lights on it, while my kids went into the Hersheys shop and spent a couple of hundred dollars on chocolate. Unfortunately never got to see the place at night.

Mr Dantes, you "peaked" too soon. Pity you'd registered already, as Jean VdV would have been more appropriate after that gas you took!

Substitute the hat for a tat, the lager for a gin and slim, and that'll be me in Benalmadena this October.

I was in Benalmadena this time last year, I met a lovely United supporting gentleman in Paloma Park, chatted to him for ages while his granddaughter and my oldest daughter played in the playground bit. Don't usually go up and strike a conversation with a total stranger but he was wearing a United top. Saw him again with his son and granddaughter at the airport on the way home again. Really nice family.

A poor attempt at keeping Foo Kin's thread alive.
On my way across the Germanic Sea, I bumped into a famous Laplander who was only too pleased to let me borrow his hat, on the condition that I didn't reveal his identity.
In truth I nearly got myself into a wee spot of bother for placing it on top of one of the stern navigation lights onboard the ship I was sailing on.

Slightly surprised to see you have a handle on your Sternpost bulb Willie, but in fairness had you put your tangerine willie warmer on the bow the other vessels may not have seen you coming. Bon Voyage Sailor Hainey from all at TT

Last time I was there, my first day at the pool meant passing a shedboy with Utd badge tat on his heart that I had to comment on. WFDUFC
Paloma park every day I'm there, for me, so I'll look out.

Ah Foo Kin. A man who appreciates life on the high seas. Looks like you're sailing with NCL. If that's the Norwegian Getaway you're onboard, you should be reading this post somewhere near Belize. Bon Voyage.

I'm very impressed BH with your knowledge! The voyage on the Getaway was last week mate and a good time was had by all. We went zip lining in Roatan; cave tubing in Belize; visited the Mayan Sun and Moon Temples near Costa Maya and had beers in the shade with Mr & Mrs Tangy in Cozumel. We're now chilling until Saturday on Ocean Drive, South Beach, Miami which is just the dogs! That was the 7th cruise we've done with NCL since 2008. Can't even begin to describe to those that have never cruised how good it is!
What about yersel?

I hate flyin m8 TBH, and will avoid it at ANY cost. So it's the high seas for me. Been on a few cruises.
1st one was a half round the World cruise with Cunard on the Queen Mary 2. Took 6 days to sail from Southampton to New York. 6-star service. Eat and drink as much as you want. I managed to put on 2 stones in 3 weeks.
Went on the Magellan from Dundee last year round the Norwegian Fjords (hence the Santa knobwarmer on the mast light above). Persuaded some freends to come along, and like you say, they are all hooked on cruise holidays now.
Have sailed with NCL, on the Norwegian Jade, a few years back, and that's how I recognised your ship. The website www.marinetraffic.com shows the current position, course, heading of any vessel.

That's a pity about your flying phobia. The Getaway is coming to Europe next summer and is doing the Baltic Capitals out of Copenhagen. I quite fancy that I must admit.

No quite a phobia Foo Kin. Flown to Belfast, London, Dublin etc., but 1 hour's about my limit. But phuck this 9 hour sh1t to California et al that my missus would have me do. So when I go stateside, it has to be rub a dub tub. Sailed to New York, Boston, Canada.
Last time into Boston, they just waved everybody thru the gate. They never even asked to see anychunt's passport, and was so disappointed that they never stamped mine, that I moaned like phuck. The sight of 2 Sheriffs deputies was enough for me to accept the Massachusetts hospitality.
