    The Open

    Starts on Thursday and Royal Troon. Colin Montgomerie out first in his last Open at his home course.

    Also being broadcast by Sky for the first time. (Free to air on Thursday - http://www.telegraph.co.uk/golf/2016/07/10/sky-sports-to-screen-the-first-day-of-the-open-championship-for/)

    Americans seem to do well at Troon. It's hard to see past the big guns for this. Dustin Johnson looks like the man to beat.

    i had £1 each way on beef at 300/1 for 7 places came 8th
