Where is Matty Smith?
Not played in any of the three first team friendlies, really surprised he didn't play on Tuesday night? Injured? Fallen out of favour? Strange especially the lack of information about him. He's too good to be playing in the u20s.
No sign of Brad Smith either as it happens. Ray more of a New Order fan?

He played in Oban mate. As did Brad I think.
They were also both on the bench v Forfar were they not?
Matty's a terrific wee player btw. Like him a lot.

I have noticed over many years that when a new manager comes in there is always a young player who they don't fancy. They are invariably one who the previous manager rated. Think: Greg Cameron with Craig Levein, Paddy Connolly/John O'Neil with Ivan Golac, GMS with McNamara (first thing he did was shunt him to wide right). Craig Easton with Jobbie McCall. Its very early days but I hope its not going to be the case with Matty.

Played at Oban, albeit not on fire like tail end of last season.
Brad came off injured during first game.

He got injured at oban. Thought he played against lochee utd last Monday but I could be wrong.

Wasn't there but was told we didn't send enough players to Oban, usually a big squad and a few players ended up playing all the games and a couple of them ended up with injuries, one of them being Matty Smith.

Looked like a promising laddie, hopefully his time at Links Park gets him in gear to be pushing for A start come next season.
