As it says, tomorrow is the last day Menzieshill High is open. Pupils are all gone but the staff are still in clearing things up. I was up there yesterday, had a wander round. Got a couple of photos of the swimming pool emptied 10ft deep at the deep end.

I was a pupil there from 90-96 was a teaching student for 2 placements in 2001 and 2002 then taught there for 2003. Huntedbyafreak also worked there for a few years around that time.

Memories of pupils ripping the pish out of Mr Greenway (who is a great guy btw having worked with him).

Mr Allan in Computing (RIP) going out the class to have a fag in the computing base at least once a period. Also when he chucked this total prick of a laddie out of class, the laddie had a bad leg and permanently had crutches but Mr Allan chased him out as he hopped to get away from him he shouted that he wanted his crutches before having to dive out of the way as the crutches flew at him at high speed.

Mr Lee in Geography: total legend full stop.

Mrs Dalzell in Modern Studies as well.

Memories of rugby with Mr Connelly and running round the path around the school for cross country which largely consisted of groups of pupils gathering in the closies of the flats surrounding the school for a fag.

Various fights which always took place in the greens of the flats whilst kids massed around and the lucky ones got on the landings of the flats for a great view.

Great days. When I'm pished tomorrow I'll remember more stuff.
