No idea why he was let go. Another senseless Jackie Mac decision. McGowan was decent but hardly Dani Alves either.

Should never have been let go.

A good pro who always gave his all, looked after his body, lived the right way, trained the right way and never hid or threw in the towel even when he wasn't having the best game.

McNamara hung him out to dry in his last two appearances by playing him at CH (we never actually lost either game).A pitiful way to treat the boy making him exit the way he did,like he was leaving via the back door with his tail between his legs.

I wish him all the very best and he is due a great reception when /if he ever returns to Tannadice on league/cup duty.
