I dont think we should be paying the rumoured £75-100k for any player at the moment.

Agreed, especially when apparently Ray has had to " create his own budget"

This probably means that Harry Souttar will be off then?

Re: New players

Not a new player but according to the courier Paul Dixon is staying on and (ray says) has a "spring in his step"

If ray can get more out of him will be like a new signing.

Appreciate all may not agree

Re: New players

Re Paul Dixon and Ray McKinnon, a good coaching team will get more out of the players than poor or deluded coaches. See England v Iceland as an recent example.

More likely that we are using the Kieran Freeman development fee to pay for this.

Too much commotion

Re: New players

I'm hoping to fuck the lad shines for us with paying a fee like this.
I'd have thought the money spent would have went on wages would gave got us in 2  players on wages for the season. Ray obviously see potential in him having worked with him last year.

Re: New players

Little bit surprised we're handing out 3 year deals to anyone at the moment tbh.

Particularly a guy who has had injury problems in the past.

A bit of a gamble in my book. But maybe that was the only way of getting him.

I'll put faith in Mckinnon on this one, well until I have reason to doubt him anyway (which hopefully doesn't materialise).

Anyway good luck to Toshney and hopefully he realises this is his big chance to get his career really on track.

Re: New players

I like what he has done with the Murdoch contract... 1 year deal with 1 year extension if he hits so many games.

Re: New players

This article on the boy Brett long says he is likely to be the number 2..

Ray says at the q&a that he wouldnt be carrying more than 2 keepere so can this be the end for Zwick and somenick?

Brett will be the Development keeper I reckon.

Think Zwick will be No. 2 and Szromnik released.

Yeah stuart garden

Ray said at the Q & A that he will meet with him and assess his coaching abilities and then see from there. Might bring his own coach in.

Re: New players

Tope Obadeyi expected to sign within 24-48 hours and it's looking certain that Flood will sign after sheeps 2 europa qualifiers accorting to reports in the media.
Denny Johnstone is off the radar having signed for Colchester.

Feck knows what is going on with Flood as McInnes was saying yesterday he knows nothing about it.
