Germany looked absolutely superb for about 30 minutes. Ukraine have came back into it well though.

Northern Ireland looked absolutely dreadful.

I think it's been brilliant so far, some excellent performances.

I've missed the Ireland, N. Ireland and Spain games but seen most of the rest of the gamss and really enjoyed it, best yet tonight, Italy outstanding, backed them to win all group games and tournament.

Italy looked the business last night. I love the way their three central defenders just love defending as a unit and are so uncompromising but can also play a bit too. If only we had a few Scottish defenders in that mould.

Totally agree bud, I got slated in work pre tournament for saying Italy would be there or there abouts, if Juve are good - Italy are good, always pans out that way. The back four (including Buffon) are outstanding, each one world class.

Shite side of the draw so they are probably going to have to beat Croatia, Germany then France to then face Spain the in the final if they win the group. Probably better to finish second in their group...

My pre-tournament outside bet was Italy to beat Austria in the final at 750/1.

It's so galling to see how many excellent players Iceland have. Then again they seem to be a country full of forward thinking, positive people, unlike here in Scotland where the people who run the game only want to structure things towards two clubs and who are rooted in the past.

Build up to this Wales game has got me from disappointed that we're not there to fucking angry.

Wales, Northern Ireland, Eire, Croatia, Slovakia, Albania, Iceland all better football teams than us with a smaller population and in some cases football isn't even their national sport!

Fuck the SFA and Gordon Strachan, all cunts if you ask me.

Great result and performance from Northern Ireland - I was rooting for Ukraine when I was reminded of what NI use for an anthem, but only for a few minutes.

Wales were absolutely dreadful in posession today. Bale has scored two cracking free kicks, and done nothing else in two games.

Italy by far the best side so far. England are going to get better. They'll get to the semis minimum.

Joe Allen has looked like an absolutely brilliant player in these championships. I don't know what Klopp said to him when he took over but he's steadily changed from a midfielder who just passes the ball sideways to a real force in midfield. The Welsh Pirlo.

Performance of the tournament for me TEK, up there with Italy v Belgium. Get the feeling that the Welsh players thought they let themselves down against England, bottled it or the occasion got to them.

Done a fiver on Ireland, Russia, Ukraine and Iceland to finish bottom of their groups at 99/1, half way there and sure Ireland will join them, sweating over Iceland tho.

lol @ England. They actually played well but given the talented players they have up front, their performance in front of goal was horrendous.
