Re: Willo 4

A wee bit harsh maybe.  If we'd had someone with his heart and dig last season it would have made a bit of a difference.  He also strolled through the game 1st day of last season against us.

Re: Willo 4

good if he's fit. Always took ages to get up to speed after a lay off

Re: Willo 4

Very good signing ,if it happens. This is a player who has just played around 100 games for the 2nd best team in Scotland coming to play in the 2nd tier of Scottish football. Could we expect any better?

Re: Willo 4

Excellent signing if it's true, I know he has left us a few times but these days you don't get loyalty guys like narey malpas luggy etc showed those days are long gone I have no problems with him at all and would welcome him back

Re: Willo 4

A fit Willo would certainly be a good addition to the team, he is still only 31 so should be capable of getting another season at least out of him.

I'd be willing to forgive him for going to the SSB if he was to come back with the Willo we all loved. It's a fickle business

Re: Willo 4

He showed up well against us last season so in theory he should still stand out in the lower level

Re: Willo 4

We offered Willo a 1 year deal on reduced terms under Jackie. This despite him arguably being our poty in his last season.

Aberdeen offered him a 3 year deal on improved wages.

What would you do Lads?

Willo's a wee guy who has always gave 100% in all his previous three spells at Tannadice.

I also think he has Utd at heart.

I'm dubious about bringing back former players. But in Floods case it seems to work and you know he'll give it his all.

He'll also help talk guys like Fraser and Spittal through a game and gee them up when needed.

Re: Willo 4

Mckinnon saying it's news to him.

Looks like a rumour that's just grew arms n legs.

Re: Willo 4

Despite Mckinnon distancing himself from this move I'm still hearing various rumours that this move is in the offing.

Watch this space I guess.

In other news Newcastle Utd have turned down our bid to sign Sean Longstaff on loan.

Re: Willo 4

If he's lucky with injuries then this is a very good signing indeed for a Championship side.

Sensible offering just a 1 year deal at his age though and kudos to Willo for accepting it.

Side starting to take shape now.
