Re: David Narey

Happy birthday Dave narey I mind one of his last games for utd he would have been around 37 in Scottish cup at fir park midweek the year we won it he was unbelievable that night considering his age and injury problems, he would be worth around the 25 million mark today

Re: David Narey

hard to pick one memory, when i first started following united he just seemed to stroll through games, 5 seconds ahead of everyone else.

fir park game in cup run was superb especially as he had been out of the team for a while, probably favourite memory is the 94 final when he finally got to lift the scottish cup and got a huge cheer!

Re: David Narey

Favourite memory would be his late goal against Werder Bremen in the UEFA Cup, but he had so many brilliant performances, it's hard to pick one.

Re: David Narey

His goal for Scotland against Brazil is 1 of my favourites. Think I still have it on a VHS tape. Looks like that's an image of it shown on the website.

Re: David Narey

Other than just remembering him being an all-round legend, that Motherwell game in 94 has to be up there in my favourite memories of him.

Played against him about 15 years ago at Gussie; so he'd have been about 45 at the time, he was still the quickest player on the pitch.
