With the competitive football starting in around 6 weeks when is it acceptable to wonder who will defineatly be gone and if there is to be replacements who will they be. Jjst itching at the bit to see something happen in a positive light in regards to players possibly coming, I know it's not been long since season finished , before I get telt lol.

Mcinnon said 2-4 weeks before even thinking about it...say 2 weeks ago? Should guess in the next couple of weeks... lads all still seem to be on holiday and our management team looking into players characters is a refreshing but timely job.
Tvmbh i looked at our squad and dont think you will see many come in until anothrr 2/3 depart....it is still pretty big

Is it not also the case that the transfer window doesn't open and contracts don't run out until tomorrow (1st June)? Not that we will be paying any transfer fee's anytime in the near future.

Linked with Denny Johnstone, sure we were linked with him after he left Celtic but we never signed cause we weren't sure how much we were gonna need to pay for telfer! Pretty sure he's a big lad, scored a few at Morton last season

Yeah he done well there, would be good signing, hibs and Killie linked too!

You can sign a player now if his contract is about to expire

First piece of signing news I suppose - Matty Smith and Cammy Ballantyne extended deals. Has to be a good thing, both lads look decent players from what I've seen. I really want to see us build a team using these guys, Johnson, Souttar etc with some experienced players in beside them.

Matty Smith looks a gem.
Really good news he's tied down for the next three years.

I know, it might be that the club are waiting until the deadline passes before they announce anything.

I'm relatively pleased that we're not just diving into making signings.
I like the fact that Raymond is taking his time with players and his interest in a player is more than what he can do with a ball.
Still, roll on the new signings eh. Think we're gonna see a fair number of lads with deals still to run staying and performing for us. Some of them just need a better quality of coach I think.
