Re: New contract for....

No chance

He's on decent money and I'm sure Mckinnon will get two players for his one salary, and he's pretty pish anyway.

Re: New contract for....

I think we could do better personally.

There's also the issue of him being away with Japan's national team.Which is an obvious problem what with travel etc etc.

Re: New contract for....

I doubt it, if we're paying him big money I'll be very disappointed. A very good shot stopper but similar to Rado when it came to commanding the box and being quick off his line.  For half the price (or less) we could get a very reasonable SPL goalkeeper IMO.

Wouldn't be disappointed if he signed again I just can't see it personally, isn't his wife just after hain a bairn ana?  Probably be staying closer to home.

Re: New contract for....

If it's true ( I don't think it is ) then it would be a vanity signing and not a footballing one. A lot better going around for A lot less

If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.

Re: New contract for....

I had heard he was to be offered a deal to stay.

Dissapointment imo.

Re: New contract for....

Nobody knows what the wage he has been offered. So it is a bit misguided to say there is better out there for the money. I wouldn't think there will be many second tier keepers with his experience and 70+ caps available

It won't be peanuts he's being offered.  And tbf he didn't look a 70 times capped player last season.
