STV now reporting he's resigned.

Does this mean we won't have to pay compo I wonder?

Re: McKinnon about to resign from Raith

Have a feeling he will do well. Fancied Laszlo over RM when I read of his interest in the job though.
Important that we get right behind the new manager from day one.

Re: McKinnon about to resign from Raith

Quite confident this will work out well, but it's going to take time, I'm not expecting a flying start, just steady progress.

Always struck me as 2 quiet boys as players.

Quite an unlikely management duo for me.

But maybe i'm misjudging the 'book by it's cover' so to speak.

I meant more the fact that they never struck me as the types who would go on to lead dressing rooms.

I always felt that about McNamara too.

Hopefully Ray has a bit more about him (ok A LOT more about him) in that respect though.

Maybe he'll be kept to work with the Developement team.

Bow doesn't strike me as a Manager, more of a coach.

Re: McKinnon about to resign from Raith

Welcome to Utd Ray Darren and Grant..

Wasnt the manager i and many wanted but thats who we have so we will back them.

One thing ill add.. The clubs a total fucking mess just now and its going to take a long time to heal. I just hope they can do a job for us. They have a massive job to rebuild our squad which is not going to be done overnight.

Re: McKinnon about to resign from Raith

Good luck to Ray!  So looks like Johnson will be his assistant?  He'll be giving up what I would imagine is a much higher paid job.

Are you sure Grant Johnston isn't coming in on a part time basis?

I wonder if Ray will be 'manager' or 'head coach'?
