3 new strips????
Guess with united since pic on Facebook there's a purple effort coming too - could do worse than the galatasaray away top from last year if we must have a purple strip
Offline
3 strips, that for the Europa league campaign?
Or are we entering the challenge cup in disguise?

Looks like a purple pinkish job is on the way bud if this is anything to go by.
Probably better for my 6 year old wee lassie, not keen on playing about with our colours but if it's a decent design and sells then I don't mind purple/pink as much as colours rivals are instantly identified with.

It's got to just be the goalie kit surely?
We don't need 3 kits.
Offline
Goalie kit over the years has been blue, green or yellow mostly and dont think they would preview a strip launch with another colour unless it's part of the outfield strip bud.
Offline
cant wait for the launch personally

Looks like it could be a paint splatter job going by that wee teaser.
A la '94 away?
Or is that not possible due to off the rail generic designs from Just Sports?

We'll never come close to matching that 94 away shirt! Best United away shirt ever.

Just had a browse through the Just Sport catalogue, we're due to have one more off the shelf before designing our own from next season, from memory these are only home and ways we've not had that are Tangerine and white, and the closest I could find to the pink was this:

That is nice Tangy, my girls would like that for their holidays.
I see the kit launch has been moved from Perth Road to behind closed doors at the GA Arena due to a planned protest.

I guess it is counter productive to the club trying to do things better.....
Nobody arguing that the last 18 months hasn't been a complete fuck up - but not sure how we are meant to go forward with protests at every corner.
There is no tangerine knight ready to step into breach and rescue us from ST - so maybe need to put up with what we have...even if the protesters were to find credible sources of finances it would be a massive help.
The way I see it, the club have STARTED to try to reach out to the fan base and if those attempts are ruined by protesters, then you will see the club going back into its shell

New strips are cool as fuck! As for protest I actually think it's making us a even more of a laughing stock than what we already are

Never been keen on the times we've had tangerine shorts, I know the original tangerine kit was all tangerine but I much prefer black shorts. They look no bad from what I've seen so far though.

Agree with this completely.
Now I am all for protests, standing up for what you believe in or against perceived injustice and and as I've said before the boys who are heavily involved with these protests are die hards, I don't imagine they make decisions likes not getting a season ticket lightly.
However I don't think this was the right time or place. In the last couple of weeks ST has taken decisive action in sacking a manager, dumping a lot of players, appointing new blood to the board, hiring a well thought of manager, appointing a new communications focal point with another director to follow shortly.
You may not like the people he's appointed but he's done what he said he would. He's also said he's up for selling, again you might think he's asking for too much but unless a credible alternative comes forward publically that we can all get behind we are stuck with him.

Like a pack of highlighter pens!

ha ha, cheers.
I'm still wearing my 1996 and 2007 tops to fives so I'll not be wearing them but I think they are very smart.
My eldest wants the pink, middle one the tangerine and boy wants the white one so I'll have a full set of highlighters!

Missed a trick not getting Stabilo Boss as shirt sponsors
