A Bold prediction

Ray McKinnon will be the next manager of Dundee Utd.

Done the biz with Brechin, and now made a brilliant start with Raith.

I wouldn't be disappointed if it happened on Monday tbh.

Too early in his managerial career for me.

Re: A Bold prediction

You can take ALL the credit for that result Silver - especially timing it for bang on 3pm.  Well done you!

Agreed. It's better that he is his own man. I've spoke to him a couple of times and he's a good lad, including putting up with me pished slavering about his goal away to Motherwell under Tommy McLean.

One of our best ever away displays i've witnessed that day.

Tore apart a right good Motherwell side.

Olofsson's first start as well. That was the day that everything 'clicked' for wee Tommy's team.

How that team never won a Cup i'll never know.Had bags of ability, pace and good mix of youth/experience.

Great times and Ray oozed class that season and the next. Was also at his 'free-kick hat-trick' game at Rugby Park. Was absolute #scenes that day.

Re: A Bold prediction

I'm pretty sure Olofsson and Peterson started the week before against Hearts at Tannadice. However the Motherwell game was definitely Lars Zetterlund's debut for sure. Agree about that team missing a trick. I went to the first game against Killie in the semi and we were utter shite. Kind of knew what was coming and never bothered going to the replay.

Re: A Bold prediction

LAO - I think Olofsson and Pedersen started against Hearts but were named as trialists, mind walking up to Tannadice and the courier board saying "Tannadice debut for nordic pair" and everyone reading it and looking bafled.
