sadly maurice malpas for me, fantastic servant and player for club but met him around 2002 and can honestly say he is the most ignorant person i have met in my entire life

Not rude exactly but i mind seeing Billy Dodds have a go at a wee boy outside Tannadice,accusing him of stealing something out of his kit bag (which he didn't,he patted his back or something similiar).

Felt heart sorry for the wee dude,he looked shell shocked.

Willo Flood, only Utd player I've ever met ( and I've met dozens, including Mo, who was fine) who was just ignorant.

As a total generalisation, players now are nowhere near as approachable as the old guard.

Non Utd players, Alan Hansen's plain rude, Goram and Gazza among the nicest guys you could meet.

Eh have met a lot of players including united, newcastle and Barca players but it has to be Joey Barton, cunt wouldn't sign a thing.

Met the Newcastle team at Dundee airport, had a 20 min conversation with Chris Hughton, the guys a legend, couldn't be nicer, even said he was Impressed with Shala haha.

Not a United player but I mind speaking to Ravanelli in fatties and I was oot the game.

He didn't have a fucking clue what was going on.

My mate knew Steven Thompson and I was out in his company one night in Fatties and he was a bit of an arse. He was wasted though and I don't know one single guy who hasn't made an arse of himself in Fatties tbh

Although I do recall funnily enough MotherwellArab no being happy with him at a poty dance for no signing Utd stuff or something.

never been one to talk to players, but i've heard loads of people say big thomson is a really nice lad.

not thommo mate met him 5 times and couldnt meet a nicer guy prob the most sound utd player i have ever met

surprised about barton mate met him around 5 year ago whilst at newcastle training ground where my nephew was playing in tournament and joey was there and was very talkative and seemed totally sound not just with me but with everyone who came over to chat with him

Met loads over the years - no a groupie tho! - and Malpas would be near the bottom on the list for me as well.

First met him when he was still part-time and at Uni and whether it was just his demeanour, he just blanked everyone!

Malpas just comes across as a dour Fifer.

He was that good a player that he could break into my house and leave a shite on my pillow and and he would still be a legend in my eyes

Met Kevin Thomas (ex Hearts) at a sportsmans dinner once and he was sound as a pound. Might have been the charleston talking though

Not a united player but I met Alex mcleish when I was a wee boy and he was a prick, signed me an autograph as mickey mouse

Chrlie Miller for me. Was doin a job in the units acoss from Tannadice, with my brother and my young nephew was there. Charlie Miller was walking to his car I think, and my nephew who would be about 11 at the time asked him for his autograph. Miller told him "phuck off ye wee pr1ck". My brother was out of sight at that point, but when he came back to the motor, he was gonna have Miller, who had already driven off. Thing is, my nephew never followed United again after that, and became a Dee which he is to this day.
