I’ve been doing a bit of projecting of my own. Not just of United’s points but our “rivals”

The following is based on recent form, last 10 games and last 5 games. From that I get points per game then multiply that by the number of remaining games for all teams.

Doesn't make good reading...We need to win at least 8 more games to have a chance IMO

8 wins from now is what i had in my mind too to have a chance of surviving.

7 wins may be enough to scrape into the play-off spot (maybe).

Suppose it all depends on the form of our relegation rivals also.If they all keep snatching wins and draws as they have been it may not matter what we do.

Think I said on another thread but if we could be within 5 points of 10th come the split I would be delighted.

Massive ask with so called harder games coming up, but Hearts was a much harder game than Motherwell and we all watched how they panned out.

21/22 pts at least needed, maybe more given how tight the table is above us. Looks like 4th/5th place will have less points than normal and on the other side of that 10th/11th may end up with a few more than normal. Almost league winning form required.

I think a more accurate projection would be to take 2016 as a baseline.

Rough calculations would give us about 35 points, 38 if we win v Sheep
