No one is denying that you have a point HH; and that Thompson needs to provide answers, but SOME of us think that you are going about things the wrong way by acting like a bull in a china shop. Thompson and the Boards folly have meant a very costly relegation and all the embarrassment and pain that goes with that. Whatever that means to the likes of you and I is nothing compared to what it will mean to anyone losing their job at Tanny and my heart goes out to them as all staff at Tanny have been great in any dealings I have had from shop and ticket office to Heggy Lounge to hospitality to yes David Southern.
Diplomacy is what is needed, not 24/7 social media attacks. A couple of seasons ago with no Zombies and no Purple Huns and no HIVees and the worst Sellick team I have seen in my lifetime, we have missed an absolute trick.
So we are where we are and we need to learn to piss with cock we have and to me that means getting back to the Premiership in the first instance, whilst realising that with the Zombies back, it is back to highly unlikely we are going to be winning any trophies any time soon. The first step is employing a Manager to rebuild a complete Football Club, not just a Football Team.

Relegation has brought this into focus. Is Thompson perhaps moving to a totally frugal position now, and will he claim that this is what some of the support have been calling for?
The point I'm suggesting: what level of belt tightening and savings would be acceptable to those who are more aware of the financial situation than me? And what sort of model should we be following in the near future to extricate ourselves from this difficult monetary position.
Complicated issues: I'm glad I don't have to make these decisions.
One that will make sure my kids have a Club to watch would be a start. The money we have wasted is shameful.

I would prefer to be like a bull in a china shop than someone who would sit and do nothing, say nothing or bury my head in the sand.
I don't know who you mean by 'most of us'? If it's the 3 or 4 people who constantly have digs on here then I'm sure you'll understand that I find that laughable.
He doesn't do diplomacy, he just does what he wants. That's how we are in this position.
The jobs thing is not on the fans, its his fault. It has no bearing on how a fan is pissed off about his Club. Of course people are going to be more pissed off about losing a job. Of course you are not the first person to say that to me on here, though....

HH, I'm in total agreement about this with you: but it's the specifics I'm wondering about.
ST has gone from pissing the cash away to a position of tightness, and I wonder, when or if he meets the fans three weeks tonight, any of us can come up with more helpful suggestions.
Is there another club which provides a more sustainable model for example?

I wonder if the "most of us" is the same as "the majority" who wanted to keep Thompson, you know when it was just a "couple of dozen agenda boys" that wanted him out.
Now I don't know of a single fan who doesn't accept ST has made a cunt of it.
FKT what gives u the right to speak for "most of us"?
Give ur own opinion, but don't presume most of us agree with you.

I'm not questioning what action has been taken, I'm asking what action has been taken. There is a big difference.
I'm glad there is a challenge coming from the fans, my concern was that it is all being played out on social media.

A question for HH, B&T, Bowers etc
Let's say there's a scenario where he meets with fans groups and says "You're right, I've fucked up. It's on me but this is where we are and this is what I have to do to sort it as long as I am here. So let's get on the same page and move on together".
Now I get it would take a big turnaround for him to say that, but if he did, what would your stance be?
I get the anger towards ST - it's justified - but as some of the guys who are more outspoken against him, is there anything he can do as far as you are concerned apart from leave that can heal the rift between the fans and the board?

I doubt it.

He needs to put some money back in if he's serious about turning his mess around, this may heal some wounds but I certainly won't hold my breath on him digging deep.
