Dundee United Football Club and Mixu Paatelainen have agreed the departure of Paatelainen as First Team Head Coach with immediate effect.The Club thanks Mixu for his service and will now begin the search for a new Head Coach.Mixu Paatelainen said, “I would like to thank the players, staff and supporters. It has been a difficult winter and the challenge was huge but nevertheless I have enjoyed every day working for the Club and with this group of players”

A shame for him - but it never really worked, did it.
Too much of a culture shock from previous management and some poor signings.
If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.

Have to feel for Mixu as he was dealt a shite hand by the previous manager
But, as said above, poor signings.
Also, I have to say, at times incomprehensible tactics.
Wish him well for the future but letting him go was the right decision.
