I sat and watched that last night and could not believe how many times we were easily pushed off the ball. Guys like Fraser and Spittal in particular seem to be to light weight. I remember seeing Goodie play at Tayport before he had got into the first team and he was bullied by the Tayport centre half. Goodie went away and worked in the gym until he was solid and no one pushed him off the ball. Conway, Swanson and Russell were all the same. Guys like Spittal,Fraser, Telfer and Donaldson should be hitting the gym to build themselves up. We are such an easy touch all over the park.

Im glad somebody else thinks this. Our lack of physicality not just this year but for decades has driven me to distraction. For Christ sake get the boot in. Spittal in particular from the current team would be a better player with another 5kk of upper body strength. I don't know if my heart could take a season in Division 2 (old school name) getting kicked all over the park.

You guys are not the only ones thinking that.
We have been a small team in both height and physicality of late and that has been something that has really let us down. Admittedly, when we have brought in the midfield enforcer type, its all been a bit too Richie Ryan as opposed to being closer to Patrick Vierra. We need to be very careful with who we bring in from a management point of view and a playing point of view. They have to be suited to getting us back into the Premiership asap and also to then get us back up the Premiership table. I think this could take a good few seasons to get us back to where we once were, but hopefully getting back to the Premiership won't take more than a season, if we get the right players and management in.

Yep I was thinking that too lads. So weak on the ball, disturbing considered they have St Andrews Uni working with them! although their main weakness is their mindset, beat before they cross the white line
