Of signing Jim Goodwin?
Just left saintees.
My own thought are he's past it but he has the dirtiest streak in him that we have been missing for so long.
Could he do a job if surrounded by runners for a season?
If no, who would you like with that dirty streak in then - the one the likes of presley and Neilson had at hearts... do you think we need a 'general' in the ranks at all?

I'm assuming this is a wind up??? Sign a boy who has been binned from St Mirren and would struggle to do 3 kept ups with a balloon in a phone box??

Not for me.
As Pat Riley, that walking quote machine who some find so inspirational, says, 'Discipline is not a nasty word'. And also, 'Look for your choices, pick the best one, then go with it.'

I'd say no to Goodwin. He's not who we need. You're right, we need a commanding, no nonsense, hard man at the back. The thing for me with Goodwin is he's a nasty bastard, but a he's a total coward with it.
If only Darren Dods was 10 years younger.

No way for Goodwin. Barry Robson and Lee Wilkie looked really pissed off on the tv last night. If only they still played/played for us.

Heggy - no wind up - just asking if folk think we need a Goodwin type player... I said myself that he's past it.
Very limited player, even in his hey day - but we've plenty of then already who don't have the nasty streak he does.

Well said. Spot on, Pat.
