That's what I'd play. In fact thats what we should've been playing for months.

Re: BNB's v Utd - Monday 2nd January (7.45pm)

Mixu's guess with team selection will be the hazard ...

That team's about it but still no Erskine for me and would rather no McKay who's not playing worth a .

Drop in Ofere and Anier to that and go for the result. Got to win, so go for it and attack.

1 Up last game proved we can't defend.

Re: BNB's v Utd - Monday 2nd January (7.45pm)

Partly agree with that T&B. I would put Offere in the team. Our pish midfield will not be passing they way through any team , the Ariel route will be our best chance to score. Despite Demels lack of mobility I would still play him in CM to try and Instill a bit of calm and composure into panic merchants Rankin and Paton. Sadly no matter who we play we will still find a way to lose.

Re: BNB's v Utd - Monday 2nd January (7.45pm)

We're gone now, and it doesn't hurt as much as I thought it would.

Never were going to win the top league these days, and although it would have been better to be in it, most of the games we play in, until this season, have been dead rubbers.

I only look forward to cup matches nowadays, and stopped going to the Derby matches at Dens when every one was changed to odd kick off times.

Might not even bother watching the match on Monday....... but if Mixu and/or ST are gone by then (99.999% unlikely), I would make an attempt.

Changed days.

Mixu is a fat disaster so whatever he decides to do it will be wrong.

Cunt.

Mixu's got to go now having managed to complete the disaster scenario created by Sackie.....he's almost strolled it !

WTF was Thomson thinking when he gave him job ?

If it's a sh1te result against the BNB's, he shouldna be allowed back into Tannadice after the match.

Re: BNB's v Utd - Monday 2nd January (7.45pm)

Pointless match, and pointless saying much about it. Noticed the banners before kick-off, but couldna read what they were saying. Great move by Murray and Rankin and Ofere for the goal. Why in phuck was Murray no given more starts/game time. Funniest thing about the game, was they BNBs when they were silent for 20 mins after we scored.

Somedy says Thompson was there, but I never saw him.

BTW, they'll no be any more Projected Points posts this Season. Pointless now, a bit like the match the night, in more ways than one.

Re: BNB's v Utd - Monday 2nd January (7.45pm)

I don't want to say too much about the match other than..

1) Dillon should hang-up his boots.Totally finished.

2)I'll be so happy never to see Ryan Dow in a Utd shirt again.I actually thought Fraser (after a brutal 1st half) was coming on to a game a wee bit in the 2nd half and pinging the ball about nicely. In any event Dow done the square root of fuck all in his cameo. The boy made his debut 6 years ago and has done next to nothing.Ta ta.

3)Murray has very limited ability but works his bollocks off.He should be kept for the Championship. He cares and wants to do well for Utd.

4)If either Erskine or Ofere score their 1 on 1's we win that match. We must be the worst team in WORLD fitba at 1 on 1's.

5)Paton loses the heid with O'Dea.Gets booked and then continues to go after him right in front of Collum not once but twice. No Utd player at anytime attempts to drag him away and placate him or the situation.Same can be said for the Kawashima and Hemmings situation.'Fire in the bellies' is all very well but we desperately, desperately need some fucking leaders out there.A Manager on the pitch,if you will.We are characterless in this respect and it's all over the fucking pitch.

6)The goals we lost are symptematic of the decay that has set-in at Dundee United FC.

Dundee's 1st goal they win a header and their boy hangs about the goal-line and wins the challenge against our keeper and 2/3 other Utd players.Their 2nd goal we give away a meaningless free-kick and then (in fucking injury-time!!) are asleep and no-one is near Wighton at the edge of the box and his sclaffed effort evades every arsehole in our box, most of all Dillon who actually fresh air swipes his attempted block. You would struggle to see worst goals lost in amateur football tbh. It's utterly pathetic.

All in all.It was yet another match that we had more than enough chances and possession to take at least a point but ultimately we got what we deserved...NOTHING.

Whoever is taking the team forward as Manager needs to weed out the losers and get some boys in with some fucking pace, ability, heart and snarl.

Gutted Lads.

In the handbags episode Hemmings was heavily involved.  Why was he not booked??

See watching it back Leedsy he actually throws a hook at Kawashima (and misses) so very lucky not to be booked or worse.

He was also IMO offside for his goal.

None of it of course matters now,but it kinda encapsulates our entire season and reminds me of the old saying ...

'If it weren't for bad luck...i'd have no luck at all.'

Not that our relegation was in anyway largely down to bad luck (it wasn't) but you probably catch my drift.
