I tend to clap if i sense the players have given everything they can.
Yesterday they did IMO.They're just not very good (being kind) so whilst i wouldn't blame or judge anyone for not clapping that performance i also wouldn't judge anyone who did think it deserved a clap.
Quick reminder we clapped off the players in May 1995 when they got relegated at Tannadice (skip to 19 minutes in to see Davie Hannah greeting lol).
Loser support or gracious in defeat?Decide for yourselves.
2 other small points..
1) I like the way Jock Brown describes our relegation as a 'tragedy'.
2)There's a lot of positivity in Billy Kirkwood's post-match interview.
I wonder what Mixu's interview will be like when the inevitable happens?I dread to think tbh.I sense it will be vague, ambigous and generally a bit gloomy and uninspiring.

Have to agree, I think the players gave their all yesterday. Unfortunately tho, we're mince, utter mince.

Respect any fan going tonight, and it's up to them what they want to do to get through this mess.

Agree wi the sentiment of not clapping that utter shite but ehm no buying that Rankin, Dillon are pretending to care. Maybe not the greatest players to wear tangerine but have given plenty for the club and should really be part of a United team lending their experience in bit part roles, not playing week in week out as Rankin has been doing all season, and Dillon for swathes of it.
I do genuinely feel sorry for they two and believe their passion for the club to be genuine, Paton not so much but I think his mentality as a person is not to be accepting of defeat which is good enough for me.
Too many empty jerseys, a clear out from top to bottom is needed. From boardroom to playing staff.

THIS
Those fans got off their arse and supported the team at our lowest ebb.
I'm not going to criticise them.I watched it on telly afterall.
