Yeah lads, for Plastic Whistle.
Online!
Muirhead looked decent for us for about 5-6 games a year ago but his attitude must've been really fucking stinking to stand out as being much worse than the rest of the fucking shysters at United.

Doesn't help that the random team generator when he needs a win plays one up front and the lazy @&@£€$ McKay at that .........no a lot of chance for any striker to get a game.
Must be bad though if can't get a game in front of any of the other duds.

Well spotted Beardy. 2 goals for Thistle. Fat lot of good they were.

Our Club is being streamlined to make it as attractive as possible for potential investors/buyers. Muirhead was on a good wage and I believe had another year (at least) of his contract still to run. That he wasn't figuring in any plans, he was an obvious one to offload if possible.
Yes, a diabolical waste of £150,000 and high wages. One of the budding shoots of the 5 year plan though.

I'd rather we kept one of the young players in our team who actually had something a lot of the others don't...raw natural ability.
Another Manager might have got something out of him.And as we might have one of them soon i would preffered him to be given a bit more time (bear in mind he's only just turned 20)....alas.
p.s. Duncan Ferguson had a 'bad attitude' in training.Thankfully wee Jim didn't wash his hands of him after a few months.

3 of 4 managers so far washed their hands of him so must be something there.

The converse of the two United managers not rating Muirhead (and didn't one of them sign him?) might be that young Robbie saw through these two United managers.
I reckon the truth lies some way between. Of course both managers have been poor, and Muirhead's outlook too may have been questionable, but the managers are meant to be the experienced, mature folk in all of this, and without a doubt they have failed to manage the player properly.

Fair point and probably on point as both Utd managers numpties, but he's a well paid professional football player and if not trying as result needs to be punted.
.....not his fault tho that ST appointed the charge hands to the asylum .....so hopefully can prove all wrong elsewhere...The Rangers 😂😂

Managers fault (mixu jmac) that it didnt work out they should have sorted his attitude out and said this when he went to thistle on loan.
I understand the argument that Muirhead had potential - can I ask the following question though.....
Would anyone have been prepared to risk persevering with Muirhead on top flight wages once we dropped down a division with no certainly that the laddie could be turned round ?

Every contract on the playing side should have provision for lower wages if not in the top league.
But yes I'd have persevered with him, I'd also have been playing him now tho.
BTW what are you basing the "turned around" but on, the rumours of a bad attitude?

Not specifically, but it's likely that either bad attitude or just not performing have lead to two coaches not playing him and one hardly playing him in a single season and whichever it was would need "turned round"
Too much of a risk for me and if he walked without a payoff too good an opportunity to miss - we can't afford the luxury of passengers next season.
