Is it worth one last throw of the dice?

We didn't get the new manager bounce when MP came in (reasons are clear now).

Should ST try to get someone else in for the last four games?

I've no idea who, to be honest, but can things get any worse? Rankin/Dillon/Paton could probably get some reaction.

Problem is that would involve paying him off.

And we are in no position to do so GC2.

We are back to the stage we were at with Jackie+Co last year.Sitting hoping that the Manager does the 'honourable' thing and walks.

He may do.My concern is that Mixu's Managerial stock is now so low that to quit would leave his career in tatters as that would be 3 jobs in a row he's failed at (Hibs,Finland,Utd). So he may dig his heels in for a good while yet thinking about it.In a last ditch attempt to try and salvage his reputation next season.

The fans will turn on him properly and he will be forced to walk.

That is what thompson will be hoping for as he has not got a relegation clause nor has he money to sack him.

If Rankin/Dillon/Paton could get some reaction, there influence would already be having an effect.

Mixu needs to go, but it's too late to save this season.

Surely if Thompson got a loan he could use it to sack Mixu?

More rumours (!!!!) but I was told yesterday that at least there is a clause in Mixu's contract. Heard it months ago, too.

He could at least put MP on gardening leave, deferring the final decision until the end of the season

There is no clause to release him according to the arabtrust associate director.
