Season ticket holders have the opportunity to invite a friend along to the upcoming Hamilton game on Sunday 24 April absolutely free!
With only five games remaining and United eight points behind Kilmarnock in the Ladbrokes Premiership, your support is vital in the battle to secure premiership safety.
That is why we are asking season ticket holders to gift a friend with their voucher H to be exchanged for a Hamilton match ticket at the Tannadice Ticket Centre. Due to demand, we would ask that this exchange is made prior to 1pm on Saturday.
To ensure as many supporters as possible can take up this offer, season ticket holders in possession of a spare Voucher H can hand it into the Ticket Centre to enable other fans to attend Sunday’s game for free.
For more information please email tickets@dundeeunitedfc.co.uk or contact our ticket centre on 01382 833166 (option 1).

Load of shite.

I'd much rather they picked a fan to manage the team for the rest of the season

Firstly, great idea to let season ticket holders bring a friend for free.We need a big, vocal crowd on Sunday and this will hopefully boost the crowd by a couple of thousand.
But wtf do you need to swap the voucher for a ticket? And by Saturday at 1pm?
If you're an out-of-town Arab it's pointless trecking all the way to Dundee for a free ticket.Even if you live in Dundee it's a hassle.
Why not just accept the voucher ?
We always find a way of ruining a good gesture/idea.

Personally think it's shit.
On one hand begging us to buy STs earlier than ever, on the other hand continuing to give everyone but ST holders cheap deals to get in. Why would anyone buy a ST now when we've had friend for a fiver, 3 games for £20 deal and now friend for free, it's cheaper without one.

I suppose by handing it over in advance you can sort our specific seats, so you can sit together, as on the day I can't just use my season ticket for the Jerry Kerr and go with my mates.
It must be problematic as so many folk have kids season tickets that don't ever go but are allocated a seat in the GF lower etc

Should read 'lose a friend for free' if you take them to watch us at the moment. Lose an early goal and it's gonna turn nasty real quick

If adverts were honest.
On Sunday.....
Anyone got any friends that they want shot of?
Give them voucher H from your season ticket book and they can get a ticket for Tannadice for a free for the Accies game.
C'mon folk, lets all lose some friends together, let them experience the misery we go through every week, Up yours friends!

Would anyone be able to give me their voucher for Sunday (and swap it at the shop for me)?
An ask I know.

You can have my season ticket for the last 2 games. I've had enough and can't stomach another half arsed performance by those players and useless cunt of a manager.

Not sure if you're joking or not mate.
But if you're not using them I would gladly take them both.

It's understandable why folk are complaining, if you don't get the reasons, then perhaps you lack perception.

I think that in the grand scheme of things, moaning about the club offering free entry in whatever form, is nitpicking in the extreme.

Of course it is nitpicking, but the limit of the club's communication with fans seems to be either such offers, or warnings about behaviour.
So I see why some folk might like to make comments on this. Maybe calling fans 'cunts' is an overreaction though.

Its a decent deal nobody is doubting that.
But why stop offering the tickets 26 hours before kick off?

Just a tad eh?
I've explained why the deal is unfair to Out-of-town Utd season ticket holders.
It was constructive criticism i was giving, not moaning for the sake of it.
Surely the club can come up with a better solution than this that doesn't hinder ANY season ticket holder who wishes to take up this (great) offer.I think they can is all i'm saying GC2.

Don't get this either.
Surely it would make sense to have the club shop available on Sunday to swap the vouchers for tickets?
It seems like they perhaps want to know whether to open The Shed or not.
Just open it.How much more does it actually cost to open it i wonder?Few hundred quid?Take the hit if it means better and easier access for those who want to sit together.

Cause they are clueless tek.
Every deal they announce they make a cunt of by stupid terms that go alongwith them
Fair point but there's some less constructive criticism on this thread too...
They should have just said £5 pay at the gate. Can't make it any more simple than that. There will still be plenty of seats for folk to sit with their mates.

It's maybe the police need to have an idea of who is going so they can send forces down from Arbroath after the big game against Montrose the previous day.
Yet I thought they were called 'Police Scotland' rather than 'Tayside Police' these days.
Back on topic, being an out of town season ticket holder, the deal is no use to me personally.

Typical United ba@@s up, why not just accept the voucher at gate for shed and Jerry Kerr.
No need to worry about numbers , they know how many season tickets they've sold and hardly likely to be a sell out, much as I hope it might be.
Seen plenty empty season ticket holders seats in recent times as well so shouldn't be problem for space.
