One consolation here is Hibs are also struggling.. 2 up 3 mins to go against 10 men ends up a Desmond. Two teams short on confidence going into Saturday's game. Let's score first and their fans could get unsettled because there not beating the dreadful Dundee United

See the reward being a game against one of the twins, it doesn't make victory so attractive.

But I'd rather win than lose. Maybe Hibs (fans) would rather lose, and concentrate on the play-offs.

United been pish for first 40 minutes, end to end for last five mins of first half.

Hibs missed penalty, looked very harsh decision, cunt chipped it over the bar.

Dixon on for Morris after about 30 minutes, tactical rather than injury.

Hibs dominant with possession but McKay bad two best chances and fluffed both one-on-ones.

Second half more like 50/50 but United had the best chance again.

Another minter moment with Mixu and Donaldson and all three subs are on.

United have defended pretty well, Demel has been good since he came on.

Into extra time we go...

PS - I have never seen a top flight professional player of the same "stature" of the Hibs keeper. He's played very well but Jesus, what a belly on the boy.

Fair play to United, dominated from about the 55th minute on, four great chances and didn't take them but played decent football in extra time.

United have better forwards on for penalties but fear this is written for their keeper who had played very well.

Just back in from the game. Phuckin p1ssed off TBH.

Bizarre team selection. WTF was Muxu thinking of having Morris at LB? Led to a lot of chaos at the back, and Morris was half-way between struggling and no havin a clue. End result was that we had to waste a subbie.

Thought Dixon had quite a good game when he came on. MOTM for me was Dillon though. Knoyle came into a game as the game progressed and Hibs got tired. Pates and Rankin did a lot of hard work winning the ball. They helped keep out of the sh1t for the first half an hour when Hibs were in charge.

Dont know why McKay and Anier couldna beat their keeper. Looked more like a middle-age Mr Blobby.

Dow played pretty well the day. Erskine played no bad, but a couple of times he tried to run thru defenders, or didna pass when he shoulda, and that cost us chances. We definitely improved when Anier came on. He contributed more than Mackay did the whole game.

And WTF was the nonsense with Donaldson. We could see he was struggling for about 10 mins. It was obvious his day was over. He didna run over and pick the ball up. He went down, speakin to the Ref, and took his time. Why did the bench no have somedy ready.

Dont know why the phuck Spittal took the 1st penalty. Looked knackered to me. Canna believe him or McKay couldna scored against blobby.

Even stevens the 1st 10 mins. Then Hibs had a spell to about the 40 minute mark. Then from that point onward we were the better team. And we still get phuck all. Story of the Season.

Think Mixu should buy over the Club, and change it's name to MPFC. Mixu Paatelainens Flying Circus.

MOM for me was Dillon wish he would play like that more often
Dixon had a good match playing left back and not as a wing back
Demel showed he is a quality defender not a right winger
Mixus formations have let these players down

Surely St Johnstone still don't want to sign Dow

Dillon, Dixon, Knoyle, Paton, Kawa and Rankin all decent. Demel strolled it when he came on. Dow, McKay shite. Erskine is about as fit as me just now. They looked out on their feet after about 70 mins. We didn't have the quality to capitalise. Thats criminal.

Btw, what is Spittal? He's not a winger, he can't take boys on. Is he a full back or a wing back or an inside forward??

Thing is we should've won comfortably today. After about an hour it was all us and we've again missed loads of 1 v 1's. Sickner, we had so much of the ball but couldn't do anything with it. Nads, GMS or Armstrong in that team and we'd have won.
