Anybody who picks Dow in their team after that performance needs their head looked at.

I'd be happy with this team TBH, saying that you can point fingers at the majority of the squad for some shocking performances so it's really throw the baws up and see how they land

Massive game dont know what team but id definatly not start Demel.knoyle seemed caught out a few times on tuesday i thought but not all that bad.
Last game of the treble 20 deal and east top tier is sold out so hopefully a good crowd.
Offline
Bear in mind it'll be our 3rd game in a week btw.
I expect two or three changes.
I'd be surprised if Dillon, Spittal and Murray don't start.
Maybe even Donaldson or Ofere.
Team doesn't need tweaked too much though. Just two or three like for like changes to freshen up the side.
The formation is fine.
P.S. on Dow. Yes, he's missed chances but he's also got in great position's and made intelligent runs recently.I wouldn't write him off entirely yet. We'll still need him and I feel once he gets one goal the monkey will be off his back so to speak.

I cant see him starting murray total disbelief why he never brought him on tuesday.
Its fair to say we cant guess what mad mixu will put out as his starting 11.
Offline
The reason Murray didn't get on tge pitch on Tuesday was we were playing utter shite and creating nothing and all mixu wanted was to get the ball in the box
Offline
Is it possible he didn't put him on as trying to play football through the thistle tattie field is impossible?
Offline
Or could it be because he's a stubborn bastard?
Picture this scene around New Year time:
Murray: "Hello gaffer."
Mixu: "What do you want?"
Murray: "I was just wanting to ask you why I've not really had a chance yet in any games from the start or even as a subby?"
Mixu: "Because you're no good enough."
WORD.

Far from murrays biggest fan and the Lad tries his best and deserves game time.

Got to admit I'm at a loss about what team should be chosen.
However, I'm concerned that we all too often much worse in the second half, after the management team has woven their magic.

In the press the other day Ranks was saying that he was really motivated for the relegation dog-fight, stating jobs etc were all at stake. I believe his attitude on the pitch shows he wears his heart on his sleeve. However, he did say that perhaps not everyone in the dressing-room shared his passion and they felt the relegation fight was 'a burden!' (paraphrased). In my opinion therein lies at least one big part of the problem. It just might explain a lot of things, like Mixu's selections, substitutions, etc? Basically we need a huge clear-out from top to bottom. It's back to the drawing-board......with a new Board!

God almighty this must be a candidate for worst performance of the season - at least only one down cos this could have been much, much worse
No great expectations of a second half improvement though

I left at half time. My two girls were bored out of their skulls and I couldn't put them through a 2nd half.... it would have constituted child neglect!! Everything about the day... the stewards etc was just fucking awful... but thats another story.
I've never seen a worse utd team in my 43 years of being on this earth. I was embarrassed to be a utd fan today...
After about 10 mins, it was plain to see that it wasn,t working whatever it was that, that hopeless cunt patalainnen was doing.. I dont even know what formation it was... it was a fucking shambles. High balls over the top to fucking no-one... half arsed attempts at a tackle... stray passing... unacceptable!!!
If that bastard Thompson is still in charge next season, i'm going nowhere near tannadice. Fucking cunt of the highest order... and Mixu, you're a fucking kiddy-on coach... please just fuck off!!
Offline
Oh... and another thing. To all who want a cup win before spl fitba. Fuck off!!
Beat hibs and we're a baw hair away from being raped by celtic at hampden.... and relegated within a few weeks! I fucking hope we get beat. I really do, cos I cant handle that... it would be our donald duck for justin and colin to twist the fkn knife!!!
And rest!!

That was by far the most gutless performance from an absolute shower of shites and for any so called professional footballer to pick a ball up and walk off was the last fucking biscuit. Shamed to be associated with this shitestorm of a club fucking laughing stock
Online!

It truly is a cunt of a time to be an arab. Like you say mate... shamed... utterly ashamed!
I didnt see the 2nd half as posted above... I fucking hope the ET gave thompson a fucking verbal doing!! (Noticed at half time, the music at the point of the whistle being blown...screaming across the PA to dampen the boooos)...
Think we're stuck with this snake!!

It'll be 50 years since my 1st visit to Tannadice come August, and that's gotta be one of the worst performances I've ever seen there. RAM1971 and j-jnr posts says a lot for me.
Apart from 3 minute spell at the start of the 2nd half when we had them in their own half, it was draining. Poor passing. Lack of challenges or half-hearted ones. Hoofball at its worst.
Far too much p1ssing about in our half, back passing, back and forward across the middle. Even on the few occasions when we got a break of some sort, some chunt would stop the run around the half-way mark, and there would be more of the above. Have to say Demel was the worst culprit for this.
Is Gunning an undercover 5th official? I mean picking the phuckin ball up on the field of play and walking over to the dugout with it. Then he's subbed for a hamstring or whatever. If he's injured shouod he no indicate to the Ref or the bench, by going down for instance. But picking the ball up.
If it's of any interest to anychunt, thought that Knoyle was our best player the day.
Thomson was his useless clueless self. Missed a couple of handballs. Let that chunt Tremarco away we murder (he shoulda been off after about 3 yellows). The GF Lino got a power oe abuse following their 1st goal for missing offside, but TBH I'm no sure about it.
Beat the Hibs in the Scottish Semi. If we play like we did the day, we've no got a soddin chance.
Incidentally j-jnr, the song they were blaring out the speakers at half-time was "Did I build this Ship to Wreck". Wonder if Eddie was playing that for Stephen's benefit.

Brilliant post Billy... Knoyle was the onlly one that seemed to give a fuck. Rankine is always a workhorse, but when hes surrounded by wage theives, whats the chances. I actually thought McKay and Anier really couldnt do much. The service from midfield was non existant.... Punting high balls!!!? WTF!!?
John Hughes was my choice... he would have jumped at the chance if that cunt thompson put his hands into his millionaires pocket.
Reap what you sew you bastard!!!
Stick in Billy...
