Utd v Dundee - Sunday 20th March 12.30pm

Please let the line-up have no Dixon and Szromnik in it.

Fingers, toes and everything else crossed that Kawa,Demel or even Zwick (at worst) is available.

Get the 3 at the back to fuck and go back to 4-4-3.Get Murray back in the team for a bit of pace and movement. And Ofere for the option of shelling it into the box at set-pieces.

Kawashima

Spittal
Donaldson
Gunning
Dillon

Demel
Paton
Rankin

Murray
Ofere
Anier

Subs - Zwick,Fraser,Morris,Dixon,McKay,Dow,Muirhead

Re: Utd v Dundee - Sunday 20th March 12.30pm

Dixon's legs have gone: yet I'd still have him in the team before Gunning.

However, I'd have neither, there. We're badly short of choice there, indicated by Dillon being an option.

No thanks to that team, Tek. Sheesh.

442 please, with Knoyle and Spittal down the right and Anier +1 up front. Not bothered who he plays with.

Rankin at left back if Demel is fit and Donaldson/Durnan in defence

Lolz I meant 433.

Though if Szromnik is the only fit Keeper then 443 is definitely a consideration.

Re: Utd v Dundee - Sunday 20th March 12.30pm

Anycunt in the goal
Donaldson Dillon Morris
Spittal fraser Paton Dow rankin
Ofere anier

We need to get gunning out the team total liability! Don't want to see rankin and Paton in midfield together so so average it's ridiculous, they both create nothing for me, just shows how fucking poor we've got! Anier has to play, McKay has been dreadful and it's actually like playing with 1 up top with him playing he's so ineffective in our system! No confident, I'm just totally gobsmacked as what has happened to our club so many boys who shouldn't be near a spl club and are picking up a ridiculous wage to do so, no matter what league we are in which I suspect will be in the championship, we need a mass overhaul in players cause if we don't we will struggle no matter what league we are in

Gunning at fault again, and again, and again, and again.

Make no mistake this could be four or five nil.

Dixon, Gunning and McKay are a waste of fucking space.

Re: Utd v Dundee - Sunday 20th March 12.30pm

A game of two halfs

At half time i never seen us get a goal. Sending off totally changed it and we went for it from that moment onwards. Another 5  mins we would have won so unlucky with that header at the end.
Point better than none a shit load to work on things in the first half nothig worked we couldnt pass or fuck all.

Re: Utd v Dundee - Sunday 20th March 12.30pm

That first half was shocking, seriously Dixon, Gunning and even Morris were pathetic.

Second half was better but Dundee lost two centre halves and their keeper and sat back to clear their lines for 40 minutes and it nearly worked.

I don't think it'll be enough but while it's still possible we go for it.

We actually look half decent from midfield to front, not great but not relegation material either but at the back we are a fucking shambles.

Durnan for Gunning, Rankin for Dixon at lwb, Fraser into midfield for Rankin and Murray for Dow with any two from Ofere/Anier/McKay up top from now on please.

Re: Utd v Dundee - Sunday 20th March 12.30pm

Whatever happened to tacticians?  Dundee's goals both came from lobs into the left-hand channel but we did nothing to stop that. Despite being gifted a penalty, facing ten men, a debut keeper, and a ramshackle defence our plan was just to pump high balls up the middle. Is that Mixu's idea or can he not control what's happening on the pitch?
We take off Anier for Ofere and maintain the aerial assault. (if you do the same things in the same manner - you get the same result). Murray made a massive difference when he came on because he ran at folk - Rankin for Murray should've been done straightaway after the penalty. Where's Erskine gone? Made the difference against Ross County - then dropped. Dillon shored it up against Ross County - then dropped ?? I scratch my head. If something doesn't work change it !! And not with 15 minutes left on the clock! Another wee moan - why are we watering the pitch and making it unplayable? Presumably Murray, Ofere and Mackay were wearing studs? They were skidding all over the place !

Agree with the main points in your post regarding tactics: difficult to believe Mixu was a national team manager for over four years, and he won more than he lost with Finland.

And the pitch: a few folk text me saying it looked awful on television, and the watering of the pitch didn't seem to help our players in the slightest.
