Thanks for the numbers once again GiT.

The 5th game of Round 1 had to go to the 'toss of a coin' to determine the winner,after the top 2 tracks were both tied on the same scoreline at the end of play.The coin landed 'tails' and as a consequence it will be the Oasis track 'Morning Glory' which will progress through to the 2nd Round.The 3 tracks which are eliminated from the tournament after suffering defeat are the 2 B-Sides 'Fade Away' and 'Going Nowhere',and also the unlucky track 'Wonderwall',which was the loser of the aforementioned 'heads or tails' tie-break decider.

Let's All Make Believe

Bizarre decision to not have that on 'Standing On The Shoulder of Giants' and just hide it away as a B-side.One of Noel's best compositions in the noughties.And one of Liam's best vocals too.

Columbia, a song that evolved from the band trying to jam to acid house records. You can hear the influence, particularly on the white label demo. Fantastic.

Tough round! Columbia, The Masterplan and Let's All Make Believe are all great, Liam's vocals on Let's All Make Believe are just fantastic.

Has to be The Masterplan though.

The best thing about this comp is that I've downloaded more and more Oasis on my Play music subscription and getting right back into some old favs.

I'm like a broken record saying it's a tough one again but I'll go for COLUMBIA.
