Re: See when we get relagated...

If it happens I really doubt the team that's put us down will be clapped of the park. Maybe by a small number of fans unless we are seriously unlucky or undone by bad decisions fae refs from here on in and the general feeling is empathy or unlucky.
What we've witnessed so far is none of the latter overall.
Think its more likely they will be told the truth.
Hoping it doesn't come to that.
Outside chance of a play off victory with a euphoric end to a shite year a a bit.

If we get relegated then manager and coaching staff should be punted straight away.

Whose to say there is not a relegation clause?

Re: See when we get relagated...

We need to hold the line until we see where we are with relegation and our cup run. What a situation to be in. Fighting from below for a play-off place with quarter of the season to go and no hope of any better than that.

To be quite honest I am more disappointed by the crap performances than the results as it shows the players' attitude. After the Motherwell game Mixu said there were plenty of games left to avoid the drop. Yes there's plenty of games left (one quarter at least), but Hamilton's result yesterday showed just how precarious our position is. We can now only survive via the play-offs. The real question is...'do we deserve to?'.

We need a complete clear-out from top to bottom.

Re: See when we get relagated...

I think that if we do not end the season on a high, Mixu will walk? I think there is more honesty in him than the previous incumbent.

Re: See when we get relagated...

The reason the heat hasnt properly been turned up on st/board is because the fans have been brilliantly supporting the players game after game.
When we officially go down the gloves will be off.

Re: See when we get relagated...

I think the 3-nil Rossco result and then the cup win provided a timely stay of execution for ST. Had we gone down in the league game I think the fans were at boiling over point, but getting to a cup semi and renewed hope of SPFL survival has spared him for the time being. If we lose against Dundee the pendulum will swing back in his direction.

August 3, 2015

DUNDEE UNITED is delighted to announce it has extended the contract of Scott Fraser for the next three years. The midfielder is now tied to the Club until May 2018.

A product of the Dundee United Youth Academy, Scott joined United in 2006. After securing a professional contract in 2011, a bad injury hampered his progress at Development level before his first team début in a 3-1 defeat to Celtic in May 2014.

Farmed out to Airdrieonians FC on emergency loan in October 2014, Fraser earned outstanding reviews for his performances under Airdrie manager, and ex United defender, Gary Bollan. In January 2015 his successful loan period was extended until June and Scott completed the season at Airdrie as the ‘Diamonds’ narrowly missed out on promotion play offs.

Scott joined the first team squad for pre season 2015 and, after playing a part in all five pre season games, was an unused substitute versus Aberdeen in the opening game of the Ladbrokes Premiership campaign.

Scott Fraser declared: “I am very happy to extend my time at Dundee United, the club that has helped me progress to this stage of my career. I know the Club will give me the opportunity if I merit it and I am proud to be part of the future here. I can now concentrate on my football development and give my best for Dundee United and the supporters.

Jackie McNamara, Manager, said: “Scott has always shown exceptional attacking ability and during his loan spell at Airdrie he added another element to his game from playing in League One. The improvement he has shown and his willingness to learn has really impressed me. I believe Scott will be a big player for United over the next few years and it is important that we got his contract signed. The fans will enjoy what he produces for the first team.”
