Vinyl

Watched the first two episodes last night, if you like music you'll like this it's all about the music industry in the 70's,with a few sub plots along the way.
Created by Martin Scorsese, Mick Jagger and Terence Winter and starring Bobby Cannavale I wonder how much is based on true stories.
I can't recommend it enough if only for the soundtrack, especially to people of a certain vintage (Pat) like me who remember the 70's vividly

We don't give a damn what the others say
We'll cheer on United all the way
For we are the Terrors of Tannadice

Re: Vinyl

Agreed. Tremendous so far.  Jagger's son is the lead singer of the UK band in it.

It's not where you're from it's where you're at.

Re: Vinyl

Been looking forward to this since I seen the early trailers, recording a few before watching though, I hate having to wait a week if I like the first episode!

Re: Vinyl

Watched the first three episodes now, and am enjoying the music and trying to identify who the characters are based on.

Think it's a wee bit slow and predictable though, but will continue viewing.
