Spot a player?
Ask me a few.months ago (weeks?) And I'd have said no- but now we are seeing vastly improved performances from the likes of Spittal, Donaldson, Durnan - maybe he could see talent but couldn't harness it and get the best out of it on the pitch?
Guess there's an argument which would point at the likes of bodul and Brian graham - however Bg has proved to be a consistent, if not brilliant striker, under a manager who knows how to utilise him...bodul, we will never know if there's a player in there or not

I get the impression that Jackie was too soft. I may be wrong. Some of the signings from both Jackie and Mixu (esp. Jackie) have left a lot to be desired.

Agree that jackie was way too soft - ran it like a holiday camp. Don't think the players were gee'ed up or pushed at all...He just let them 'express themselves'....
V few managers don't have some nightmare signings but I'm starting to see something in a few lads which we didn't see under jackie...
Mixu I will reserve judgement on but at least he has told riski to do one ....knoyle maybe unlucky in that we've found a defence which works a bit better - but injuries could see him in at any point
