Jackie Mac, again.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/35645268

This again today, along with all the usual nonsense about deserving a longer period in charge at United. It was a long term project, he claims, and today a journalist has brought the story back to the forefront. But why right now? I wonder if McNamara thought he was turning York around, with better results up until Saturday there.

Re: Jackie Mac, again.

Nothing he says will change the fact he was hopeless at recruiting players and organising a team.

Re: Jackie Mac, again.

Did ye, Aye?

I thought you inherited a squad with the most promise since the 80s.... They were maturing just in time for him taking over....The golden generation for us....

Under performed and still babbling on - you'd think he'd be more interested in keeping his current team in the 4th tier of football.

Pedro - although a big heided bawbag, left a legacy he could have done something with - another cup or 2 was not out the question...

Re: Jackie Mac, again.

it's a delusional statement.

"second only to jim mclean"

let's see
houston - scottish cup win and three european qualifications
jerry kerr - massively improved club
craig levein - massively improved club
golac - won scottish cup

Re: Jackie Mac, again.

Ate that made me chuckle, right enough.

Nae mention of the long term deals given to dave and darko (couple of t!ts)

No mention of being an international defender but couldn't make 1 of our defenders better at defending or see a defender who could improve our defence....

Selective memory...
