It's probably my fault the NHS is bankrupt as been in 7x for knee ops and complications re an ACL rupture.
Also had 2 others (a) a screw through one of my taes; and (b) a colonoscopy
2 months ago got telt by the Surgeon I need 2 new knees, but I'm too young as they only have 15 year lifespans and that puts me in the "you'll need it done 3x category" even though I protested being an Arab I would never live that long due to watching United!

Just been in hospital a few times myself *touchwood*, but only when I was very little. First two times was when I had Bronchial Pneumonia as a baby, I was in Cameron Hospital in Windygates, they sent me home too early the first time and it came back. I was touch and go for a couple of days and nights. Don't remember much, obviously, apart from a couple of pictures of baby Sieb with my mum and dad, who were both wearing the blue gowns and facemasks as I was in isolation. Can't imagine anything worse for a parent.
The only other time was 3 months in the Vic Hospital in Kirkcaldy for a dislocated leg, I was in P1 at the time and was too little for crutches and the like, so after I got out I spent another 3 months in a wheelchair. That was back in the days before mandatory wheelchair access in the school so I missed half of P1! Maybe that's whats wrong with me!
Arabnophobia went to the same school as myself, so I wonder if he remembers that at all.
Anyway, most important thing is that you get better The Shed, hate to see anyone stuck in the hospital

Stayed overnight twice. Once when I was young for an ear operation. The other was summer of 2009 when I had 2 fits and they confirmed Epilepsy. Was In ward 15 at ninewells with people dying around me and my head was fucked with all these different things running through It, my body was wrecked with the force of them and I'd battered my leg on a chair as I had the first fit and was all ripped open, was an unpleasant experience to say the least. I never slept a wink In the hospital.
