Nows the time. We have sat back and not vented our anger at the club. I see that alot of people are going to protest on saturday by staying outside the ground for 10/15 and imo im surprised its taken this long.
But nows the time as we are now 100% down.

Haven't been at a game for around 3 months, for health reasons, so not entirely sure what the feeling is round the stands, but from what I've read and from those I have spoken too, I'm surprised it's taken so long aswell. Without doubt tho, it is now time, there will be some who don't agree, who think ST is still doing a good job, but I believe the majority will now be on board with any protest. Something has to be done.
Can't be there Saturday, but should be back soon and I'll certainly be letting my voice heard when I am, clubs been ruined

Fuck bowers by 15 minutes we might be 2-0 doon and the protest will last 90 minutes
Seriously though it's time he was told what fans think.

Should be a protest after the game!

Protest from start to finish,we're down anyway so give that bastard a 90 minutes like our season has been like!!!!

I think we need to let the board know that they are accountable and that those who have let us down should go. But I'm a Dundee Utd supporter and I'll be cheering on the team for the full 90 mins. Protests before, after, or directed at non-playing staff during the game are all fair enough. But action that might affect the players or the result adversely...I can't do that

So good I said it twice??

Any chance of some kinda hastily made large banner in the stand bowers?
Nothing against some form of protest against Thompson. I know the players and Mixu have to shoulder some of the blame, but worried that there being nobody in the seats for the first 10/15 minutes might send the wrong message to the players, esp. against the Hertz.
ST seems to be cleverly puting the blame elsewhere, albeit he has apologised.
He might take a dim enough view of this to close the gates at 3pm sharp, then we're all phucked.

What good Is missing the first 15?
Should be a 90 minute protest outside the ground.

Never gonna happen. A walk in a walk out whatever it is.
Should just hit the main reception at full time to vent anger

I personally dinna like the idea of protests when the players are on the park, unless it's clear that the protest is clearly directed to a certain quarter, like by using a big banner with Thompson's name on it for instance.
I posted this on the "Statement" thread yesterday, but TheShed pointed oot that there might no be a lotta oe folk left in the stands, if we're getting beat, at say 1 hour into the match and folk start leaving. Thing is bowers, I'm only 1 of 6k regular supporters, and I dinnae have enough clout to do anything, and I certainly canne tell other folk what to do or what no to do. It's doon to folk like you bowers.
"Sit-in after the game Saturday. They'll come a point in time when stewards will tell us to leave. Tell them to p1ss off and were no leaving till Thompson appears. They can easy get on their walkie-talkies and pass on the message. If he's got any bottle, he can come oot we a PA mike if he's got anything to say."
True, he might send oot one oe the other Board Members in his place, but I'd be surprised if we didna get a response.

I agree with this. Dinnae disrupt the gemme, give the players full support, but at full-time, stay in your seats, or if you are left isolated here and there by folk not participating make sure you move beside them to show unity. And yell, sing, chant, but direct your anger firmly where it belongs. And you don't need me to tell you where that is!
I just wish I could be there but be sure I will protest by email and urge everyone who cannot attend to do likewise.

I agree a sit in after full time or either the main reception after the game is the best way.
These things needs to be organised by some sort of organisation of some sort and im afraid as much as we want to see something done at this moment in time i csnt see many people taking an interest hope im wrong.there is plenty talk of a protest on sat lets hope it happens at full time.

One of the biggest problems with any protest at the minute is a lot of people don't see any alternative to ST. I don't know for sure if there is one, but I know there was. If there's still someone interested then that becoming public would get people more interested IMO.
I don't expect anyone who is interested to want it public at this stage either.

This ^^^^ for me, also surprised the support from the 'Well game weren't criticised. Not for leaving later but the library support in the first half, difference from Hamilton was unbelievable and it must have been noticed by the players.
'Well game was shit or bust and I think the support failed as much as the team on the night.

Totally agree Bugsy. I was really shocked at how quiet the support was on Tuesday. Expected a big atmosphere. Completely flat from the off. Hugely disappointing.
The players had to have noticed it. Gunning even attempted a wee gee up early on but got very little response.
Can't for the life of me work out why.
On topic though, during the game is definitely not the time to protest anything. Pretty ridiculous suggestion if you ask me.

defiantly need to get the fans voices heard. Standing outside the gates etc, we've sat back for to long and let this happen.
