To me personally, I think there is a fine line between leaving the accounts to the people that are in charge and not to worry about it too much, but then where do you hold someone accountable for doing a shit job before we get run into the ground.
I would love to keep the best players, and have a great run in the league and win a cup, but I also don't want the club to go to shit and ruin financially. So where is the middle ground.
And I think that is what has been frustrating for me as a fan in the past year or so.

I used to think that tae until the latter few years. Then Derek Robertson started coming to fed committe meetings and giving us financial info. He was always a glass half empty person and tbh most of us on committee thought he was "just being Derek". However, approx a year ago we received information saying that the club's losing 5 figures a week and things wernt rosy at our club. The other week we were told that club had to sell a player to bring in cash to help pay wages in the upcoming months. When you hear that info then surely we've got to be worried about where our clubs heading. We need answers because make no mistake getting relegated will have some serious consequences for the future of the club.
To some I'm a doom and gloomer and negative but I think the stuff I hear makes me entitled to think like that.
Aye, worrying right enough when you are told we are losing half a million a year. Is John Bennett the source of this information, can you say, B&T?
And you are correct, 'we need answers', for rumour and speculation has done the fans no good over the last year.
You are entitled to be worried if the information is accurate, and you are closer to the source than any of us on here.
I just wish we had results on the park to worry about.

LoL mair like....
But FYI, here's what a "cash cow" really means: "Well established brand, business unit, product, or service, that generates a large, regular, predictable, and positive cash flow."
Dundee United would tick the well established brand box, but as for the second part of the definition???!!!
