It should be Fame, but voting for Dancing in the Street, please, as I think it's Bowie's best collaboration, plus a lot of comedic angles in the video.

Re: Tell Towers - Best Bowie Song - Round 1/Game 8

VH1 had a documentary about the director of the video David Mallet a few years back, can't find it on YouTube unfortunately, it was very good, they only had one night to film the video and both Jagger and Bowie were very 'hyper' all night, they edited it in the morning and sent it out for the world premiere later that night to raise money for Live Aid. The video actually won an MTV award, and the director has made a few other classics as well such as Bowie's Ashes to Ashes, Radio Ga Ga, I want to break free, Thunderstruck and I don't like Mondays.

Re: Tell Towers - Best Bowie Song - Round 1/Game 8

No Tek, I like the cheese factor of it but stick me down for 'Fame' as a vote.

I apologise as I haven't heard of the other two songs so its a bit of a skewed vote.

Re: Tell Towers - Best Bowie Song - Round 1/Game 8

I'll probably be able to contribute to the competition more in the later rounds, as the songs that are going through are the ones that I do know.

Cool mate.

My vote goes too Lady Grinning Soul...cool as fuck.

Fame has a really cool and catchy hook but it is just like one long jam imo,no real chorus. It also reminds me a bit of 'Cold Turkey' (though not as good as that) maybe it's the Lennon influence.

The Loneliest guy i really like too.Underatted wee gem.

Dancing In The Street is an awful awful cover.

On the subject of Dancing in The Street. A terrible cover of a superb song.

Always found this Musicless video hilarious.

Re: Tell Towers - Best Bowie Song - Round 1/Game 8

It's cos it's only one through at a time Bugs. A few big hitters are inevitably gonna fall.

Moonage Daydream was the first to fall and it's one of his best IMO.
