Dissapointing about the motherwell game being changed as think we woukd have taken a massive support through if we had picked up a couple wins friday live on tv will effect this.
We have been advised that our Ladbrokes Premiership match away to Motherwell has been moved from Saturday 12 March to Friday 11 March with a 7.45pm kick-off and that our Ladbrokes Premiership home game against Dundee, originally scheduled for Saturday 19 March, has been moved to Sunday 20 March with a 12.30pm kick-off.
Both changes are due to these matches having been chosen for live broadcast on BT Sport.

Friday night is pish for games.
Roll on the days of no live tv and sat 3pm every week, dreaming again.

Aye, not great for the 3pm Saturday football fan. That Friday game will suit me, but Sunday, 12:30 for folk travelling a distance is not great.

So in other words we'll phuckabout with the fixtures to suit the armchair kiddy-on fans, but phuck the real salt of the Earth supports.

Fuck sake. Was buzzing for motherwell on the Saturday after my birthday. Was hoping for a train day. Fuck modern football.

Fucking shite. I'm signed up and paid for a run on the Sunday (Kilomathon), so I either now miss that and lose £25 or miss the Derby which I have already paid for with my season ticket. Fuck these TV companies.

The chairmen up here sold their sole to the TV companies for peanuts.

See that, it's one of several issues I've written to United about this season, but they don't appear to have the guile to realise that regular customers get pissed off by such alterations. In fact, they don't bother replying or even acknowledging any communication.

When we still had dialogue with the club that was one of the the things we brought up regularly. TV ko times and charging ridiculous prices for a game that's on tv. They don't care though. Same with this daft ticketing policy the club have. Questioned it constantly and DS still thinks his policy is the way ahead.

Aye when I found out about this last night I was going to send Southern an email to have a moan but what's the point?

There is no point having a season ticket anymore.
Between the cheap deals for non ST holders and missing games because of TV companies moving them it's far cheaper to just pay at the gate. When the ST money stops coming in, then and only then would the clubs maybe do something about it.
From a personal position I'll now see these games on TV so it's good for me as unable to go to games atm, but it's just plain wrong, I've missed quite a few the last few years because of it and it's the regular punters who should be looked after first, not those who constantly choose to watch in the pub.

Don't think folk are 'surprised'. Pissed off would be my way to describe it.

For what it's worth, I agree. I just don't see the point in moaning about it on here every time the fixtures are changed. Christ knows, we've got plenty of other things to moan about.
