Unsure if it works in reverse, but if the Chinese think all Caucasians look the same, send them Gunning and say it's McGowan.

Great money if true
Got to say we couldn't turn that down if true.
Having said that there's an awful lot of on Twitter.

I think McGowan has had a lot of unfair abuse, at least he is committed in games, but £380K would be an amazing fee.

Haven't seen any abuse, folk have said he's average, overrated by a lot of Utd fans, doesn't pick up his man at times, doesn't always track back and we could do with better, all of which are true, but that's not abuse.

The Tannadice chairman gave the Finn his 100 per cent backing in an exclusive Record Sport interview yesterday and is ready to fund up to three new signings in a bid to avoid the drop.
And he is ready to block a move from Chinese outfit Henan Jianye for Australian star Ryan McGowan.Contact has been made by the Chinese Super League club but Thompson is in no rush to sell the defender. He said: “We don’t want to lose anyone like that.“Where we are at the moment, it just wouldn’t help our cause unless Mixu said ‘it’s great money – Give it to me and I'll bring you in two International Central Defenders’.“And Ryan is a top-class international defender, don’t forget. We don’t want anybody of his calibre going anywhere in this window.”
Can't wait till these boys are revealed later on today.

..............Ryan McGowan is still there.

When does the Chinese transfer window shut?
If it's different then this could still drag on?

Chinese transfer window shuts in 25 days, on 26th February. As an aside, both McGowan and Knoyle are listed as number 12 in our squad.

What's the bets the deal falls thru on 25th Feb and he rejoins the squad for training

Is the player effectively on trial in China then? I see no other reason why it should have taken so long.
Why would it matter when the Chinese transfer window closes? He flew over there 12 days ago.

This needs cleared up by the club amd fucking fast.
Has he signed and they have jist failed to tell us?
Is he on trial?
Is he still contracted to DUFC?

Get it sorted, it's taking the piss to be going on this long.
We could do with a bit of cash to tempt all these wonderful free agents floating around.
