Sorry Mixu

We dont have even a fighting chance with Mixu at the helm.  Fucking shocking lineup tonight.

Its not his fault we are where we are, but he is showing no signs of turning this around.  Another absolutely terrible decision from our chairman.

edit to add: we are still conceding goals every week from set pieces.  Not good enough from the manager.

Get McCall on the phone.

Re: Sorry Mixu

The attitude of certain players is disgusting
loose the ball ,stand still.
Mark a man, if he moves, stand still
If the pass is an inch out, stand still
Bad decisions from ref, just accept it
Bad tackles. From opposition,go and make sure they're OK, instead of giving them hell

Bunch of spineless cunts, there are a couple of exceptions- funnily enough some of the fans favourites are the biggest culprits.

As for Mixu - said it so many times already, he's no balls, far too defensive.

Re: Sorry Mixu

Don't see Mixu as the fall guy. He will continue to punt the likes of those we dispair of.
Hell of a clearout but he's clearing out. RRDH, I'm as gutted as you but until it's his team I'm not shouting for his head.

Re: Sorry Mixu

That was anything but a defensive performance.

I blame Mixu for signing Gunning but not much else.

Re: Sorry Mixu

Do you think we are defending set pieces properly?  Who is responsible for cleaning up that area?

I said weeks ago, teams that play nice stuff and concede on set pieces go down.  Nothing has changed.

Re: Sorry Mixu

Do you think Gunning listens to instructions? Do you think Mixu told him to defend like he did tonight?

If Gunning plays again, Mixu has to take responsibility for that.

Re: Sorry Mixu

I think mixu signed him and I don't think mixu is a very good manager.  Even for next year if we are in the lower tiers.  Not making him any sort of fall guy, I didn't hire him, the chairman did.

Thing is that's exactly how he was last time round, there seemed to be this hazy misty memory of a great centre half that appeared a few months after he left, the reality is he's always been shit.

What annoys me is his attitude to it, like a Sunday league player giving it, " sorry boss I know I'm meant to be marking him but i went off for a piss" and laughing it off.  He just doesn't care and shouldn't be near our team for that reason alone.

Re: Sorry Mixu

I was back in the car and heard his interview. He's on fucking glue. Apparently we were committed and aggressive. I don't often agree with the Sportsound pundits but they got us spot on tonight. Soft centre, players jogging back all over the park (Fraser and Gunning singled out on radio), passing the ball in the wrong areas, bad decsion making all over the park, taking chances at the wrong times, no leadership whatsoever and Celtic had clearly planned on how to expliot our formation was the jist of it. They also said Mixu needed to start taking chances with more than on striker. Oh they also said most of our players looked like they couldn't care less.

Re: Sorry Mixu

I was actually disgusted with Gunning at one point tonight. In the 75th minute he lost possession near the half-way line. He starts laughing. You can imagine the reaction he got from supporters closest to him in the GF Lower. He simply gives them 2 fingers.

Boys an arsehole mate, his ignorance to the support and his teammates is disgraceful.  If it was up to me he'd be out the door tomorrow, but I said that a couple of weeks ago too.

My own input to this after his twos-up, was to shout to him "Come on Gavin, we're getting baet here!". To which he just laughed again.

Bang-On the lot of it.

Not appointing Stuart McCall was a mistake,i thought it then and by the week i am feeling more and more dejected that Mixu was the appointment. He has no answers as to how to get us out of this.

I really want Mixu to be good btw.Fucking loved him as a player, loved him.

We need to win games though, and given how shite our defence is starting 1 upfront with no recognised forwards on the bench is .....well you all know what it is.

Comment above is spot-on too.We still lose the exact type of goals we did and have for fucking years now.

'What's the point in fucking training?' Mixu asked on the 25th October 2015 after we lost 5-0 to Celtic.

3 months on and he hasn't in anyway answered his own question.Still the same shambolic type goals conceded.Fucking unacceptable.

Mon ta fucking fuck Mixu.

Re: Sorry Mixu

Still raging about last night, not losing to Celtic, that was always likely to happen but the attitude of so many of our squad stinks.

I've seen boys singled out all season and some of it is so out of order it's unreal, Blair Spittal for example has come in for so much stick, why?  He's without any doubt our player of the season to datend he gives a fuck when he's on the park?

Guys like McGowan get praised for having a "great attitude" well to me having a great attitude doesn't mean giving up and not chasing back when you lose the ball. Him and Dixon so guilty of that last night - yet again.

Folk slag Rankin, he's not the best midfielder in the league but he must think to himself what's the point? These cunts round about me don't care.

I said at the start of the season I expected us to get off to a bad start and with such a young squad we'd struggle to recover, confidence is gone in a lot of the young lads.  I don't blame them they were hung out to dry by the last management team, Mixus not handled them right either tho to help them recover from that.

Guys like Fraser and even Souttar have potentially had their careers ruined this season by terrible management, and despite what anyone says these guys are good footballers.

The GK situation, while better now has killed us this season too, neither of the 2 who were playing will ever be 1st pick GKs at anywhere near this level.

And then there's Gunning, well I said enough about him last night.

Maybe it's just me, I've not had a good start to the year, and am not in the best of moods, but the reality is that everyone at the club needs to have a long look at themselves in the mirror and say do I deserve to be here.

IMO it's now without doubt time for change at the top, Thompson has to go, infact the whole board are culpable, Southern is a waste of a wage and should go too.  Yes I know someone would need to buy us, but Stephen the club is devalued right now you're gonna have to take the hit, cut your losses and go, you are not the man to take this club forward any longer.

Mixu, I'm sorry to say has to go too in the summer, while Jackie and co are mainly responsible for where we are, a manager of any decent standard would have us at leadt a dozen points better off than where we are.  The players are taking the piss out of him.

As for the playing squad, there's a few in there don't deserve to wear the shirt again.  I honestly would be playing the likes of Harry Souttar, Ali Coote from now on and give these guys experience, but I'd be playing them beside the guys who at least are trying their nuts off like Spittal and Ranks, not beside the Gav Gunnings of the squad.

Things are about to get messy in the stands I think and I for one support the guys who are going to be calling for change, it's gonna happen, people aren't going to accept the attitude that's right through the club any longer.

Like I said, it might just be me, and if it is just tell me to shut it, if I'm wrong fair enough, but I really don't think I am.

Great post Shed.

Only thing I don't support us Mixu out. It's clear the players, well a large amount of them anyway, don't give a fuck. I think a summer of recruitment under Mixu and he would sign a team which mirrors him, a team with drive and effort.

The current squad are what we all knew they were, copies of their last manager, soft as shite and the majority of them only have interest in their own careers and cash, a trait shared by the last management team.

I think Mixus signings have been good minus Gunning. Demel and Pongolle have both looked good when they've played,I personally think the keeper is quite good. And Riski it's probs to quick to judge. Gunning however was a clear panic buy but I suppose they're are worse players.. Probably.
