Let's do our utmost to win every Cup match and give the fans something hopefull to cling onto.The Cup should never be an afterthough regardless of league situation (imo).
Beat Partick and we're only 3 games away from Silver with some right shite teams left in the competition.

I think it's a decent draw, back to back fixtures with them, away in the league then home in the cup hopefully on consecutive Saturdays at 3pm.

None taken. I was asked on Saturday if I would take winning the Cup if it meant relegation. My answer was Yes for your very reasons and the fact we would come back. But a Play Off win to keep the Zombies down and us up would top everything if I'm honest!!! But I just dinna think my auld ticker could handle that

Agree with this, we start every season with 2 chances of a trophy, and should do everything we can to try and win these games.
I'd take a cup win and relegation over staying up and losin this game to Partick, if I had the choice.

I'd take relegation if we won the Cup.
But let's try everything in our power to do both.
Sometimes when a team is in the mire in the League the Cup can actually feel like a relief because the pressure of winning seems not as huge and it can lead to the shackles being cast off and the team having more of a 'fuck it let's have a right go today' attitude,rather than trying to keep it tight and being terrified to concede.
We got to a Cup Final under Chisolm remember.And it was the Semi win v Hibs that was actually the catalyst for pulling off that miracle recovery in the league.
