most difficult one yet...til the end of the day

Loved "I'm Not Like Everybody Else" as sung by Dave Davies, and Apeman was a lot of fun, but Till The End Of The Day was one of the early songs which got me into The Kinks, so it gets my vote. And it's stood the test of passing time, still fresh.

Hardest one yet, really wanted to pick I'm not like everybody else but Till the end of the day is one of my favourite songs of any band.

Toughest Round yet by far.I like them all.
Apeman is just a great fun pop song.Like the descending piano in it and the chilled out middle 8 before the last rousing chorus.
All Of My Friends Were There is Ray Davies painting a surreal/dreamy little 3 minute track that is a quirky little gem.Nice harmonies in it and i like the Organ parts.
Till The End of The Day is them at their best during the early days of their Mod swagger.Realy powerful and aggressive guitar parts (great opening chord progression with slight effect on it) and almost shouty vocals all aided well by some impressive drumming.Great mid-60's pop/rock track.Era defining even.
But my vote goes to another of their 'little gems'...'I'M Not Like Everybody Else'
Particulary like this live version i heard playing out to the end of a Sopranos episode.Brilliant track and once again showed The Kinks versatility of songwriting.
