My Spidey-senses are tingiling and i anticipate those rarest of DUFC things in recent times...a win!!

3-1 (McKay,Fraser,Spittal)

Airdrie will have an 18-year old in Goals tomorrow who's only played 2 senior matches for them.If we don't win tomorrow i truly truly despair.

We will score at least four. McKay will run riot. Hopefully Muirhead starts and the new boy gets a run around

Depends on the attitude of the players, if they believe they can win, which for once they might, then we'll win easily, if they don't believe then......

1 positive is that with the injuries/suspensions to the defence then it may force Mixu to put a positive attacking line up out, he'll prob still find a way to play for a replay tho.

Think we'll get some confidence from the new signing and a break from the pressure of league games.

Be good having some options up front too

Having said that our defence is still....our defence (though the new keeper will begin to make a difference).

So 4-2 United for me.

The standard in the third level is really poor, with full time Dunfermline walking away with the league. Airdrie are beside Stenhousemuir in that league points wise, and their last home game was a defeat from Stenhousemuir, which was their first win since November.

We have been terrible this season, but I wouldn't expect us to struggle against Airdrie today, and expect a comfortable win.

However, two interesting players to look out for in the opposition: Taylor Morgan, who rarely lasts 90 minutes is a giant English forward on loan from top league Swedish side Ostersunds FK, and Alan Lithgow is a defender who was done for flashing several times a few years back.

Going for 3-0. First clean sheet for Kawa, goals from Spittal, Muirhead and Gunning.

From here we win every game left this season and finish top 6

Seriously though hope we win today and this is some sort of platform to at least reaching the play offs .

Oddly one of the most interesting things about the line-up is the bench.

Looks as though Paton might be back in action sooner than anticipated.

Demel at rb?

Wee bit disappointed Muirhead not starting.

Really hoped he would go 4-4-2 with McKay and Muirhead.

Bench looks like its compiled with a fightback in mind!!

We've had 54% possession, and 8 shots for goal to Airdrie's 3 at half-time, but no score. Are we in for another let-down?

They had 6 early corners to our 1 but we got five in a row near the end of the half so hopefully on the right track.

A wins a win at the moment, hopefully the lads get a lift from today, clean sheet added Paton back in the mix too. Put up a good display next week and we might be able to kick on a bit!!

Donaldson has been an odd one.

Looked (to me) to have potential the first few games.

Then came the Hamilton game and not quoted thereafter though by all accounts it was Durnan that had a cow.

Rumours about bad attitude thereafter.

One that might have done better with a decent experienced CH beside him earlier in the season?

Donaldson appears to me to be a far better defender than either Durnan or Dillon, so it's a total puzzle as to why he hasn't been playing when they have started in too many games............... to me.

Overall we were very poor today, but through.
