Airdrie V's Dundee Utd - Sat 9th Jan 2016 (3pm)
A great chance on Saturday to forget about our chronic situation in the Premiership and post our first win since Halloween 2015.I think we will win,and win pretty comfortably.
I would like to see Mixu put out a really attacking team on Saturday,and perhaps play 2 upfront for once.I'd like the team to be.(3-5-2)

Unsure for certain, but think Gunning, McGowan and Durnan are all suspended for Saturday.
Donaldson surely will be in, and we're stuck with Dillon. Dixon too will probably play.
And.................. look at your sub list Tek.

Oh yeah 5 subs for Cup?
Never knew Gunning+McGowan were suspended jeezo.

Went to have a look on the SFA's website for upcoming suspensions but it was last updated on Sep 2015.
Edit - Found the Cup Suspensions.You are correct Pat,both Gunning+McGowan have a 1 match SC ban ffs.Even worse Durnan it would appear isn't suspended 
I think we'd need to go a back 4 then...so my rejigged team would be

Still think we'll just about have enough,but that defence gives me THE FEAR.

Said to Affshore yesterday id go 4-4-2 with muirhead and mackay up front. id go with your latest team TEK that does it for me.
Doubt be our usual scottish cup backing that has followed the team the past few years expecting it to take a beating..
1-2 win for us in a scrappy game.

Seven subs now allowed in the cup too. Telfer can hardly fill one shirt, far less two though. And you are right Tek, Durnan isn't out.
Lao, what has Kawashima done to deserve Durnan and Dillon as his central pairing? 
But I know we lack decent central defenders, right enough.

Airdrie have given us 3 sections in main stand. Last time we got whole of East stand. Anyone know how much main stand holds?

Airdrie have given us 3 sections in main stand. Last time we got whole of East stand. Anyone know how much main stand holds?
The West Stand (Jack Dalziel Stand) holds around 3,500: plenty for Saturday's attendance. Guessing that three sections, plus the wee end section is what we'll get, to the half way line, around 1,700. It'll be enough.
