couple observations

Was lucky enough to sit beside the United dugout last night albeit infiltrating the home support.  Just laying out a few thoughts.

- Away support was ace, was jeaous as fuck I couldnt be in there.
- Mixu hates our keepers.  Ice Cold with Zwick and was muttering at Szmoznik all night for not distributing faster.
- Starting with 3 Center Halfs with Rankin & Demel in front is fucking stupid.  Hearts werent anything special yet we invited them onto us the entire first half.  His tactics in that first 45 minutes were brutal.
- Mixu was very very simple from the sidelines, for all his gesturing, you are hearing things you would typically here on any park on Sunday afternoons.  "get out" "out out out" telling lads in possession to aim passes to Erskine and Mckay who were always isolated.
- Most worrying for me was seeing the players reacting to him.  They arent bought in.  You can fault the playing staff for that but good managers get respect instantly.
- Defensively we were fucking awful.  We start 3 QE2's at center half and were cut to ribbons.  Durnan is the worst of them, Morris is OK and Gunning went in at half time laughing and joking with the Hearts subbies coming out to warm up, smart attitude as per.
- Billy Mckay does not enjoy playing for us.  Watched his reactions after stray passes and virtually no service and was muttering under his breath after every attack broke down.  Dont blame him like.
- Guy Demel looks like he can be a force when he is fit but also dont think he is really listening to the sidelines.  Looked fucked after 20 minutes.
- All entitled to voice opinions at football but was feeling the cringe when Souttar came on and we fucking boo'd him.  Much as he has been gash, felt really bad for him.

Was an interesting perspective, the rest is just an opinion.

Re: couple observations

Given that today is January the 1st, and not April the 1st, that's concerning.

Re: couple observations

Glad to hear your ticket was there waiting for you mate. : )

Your assessment is worrying. I've actually resigned myself to accepting we're doomed. We are the worst team in the league, with the worst players, and unfortunately, it looks like the manager isn't up to the job either.

Just one thing, I'm pretty sure the booing wasn't directed at Souttar, it was directed at Mixu for bringing Souttar on instead of Murray. A total head scratcher of a decision that one.

Mixu has shown me nothing since he arrived I'm afraid, nothing. I swear I'll cry if that keeper starts tomorrow. I can't take it.

Re: couple observations

I have no sympathy for any of the players, to me they are not good enough and have shown time and time again they are gutless. Mixu has been handed a steaming bowl of shite, he can try and polish them but they are still shite in the end of the day. We've already said we'd be luck to want to keep about 4-5 players from the current 50 odd players so no wonder he's no happy either.

Tactically you can discuss all day but maybe it's more the players than the tactics that are the main issue.

Now I'm not saying Mixu is the man for the job or not time will tell but I can 100% tell you these players are fucking useless

Re: couple observations

I agree that Mixu may not be the man for the job, but with this current crop of McNahashofits I doubt anyone else would be. The task Mixu has is something like asking someone to take the current Airdrie side (or similar) and asking them to keep them in the SPFL this season. We can only properly judge Mixu when he has something akin to his own players/team to work with. He is not responsible for these sub-standard Jackie-asses. The Airdrie cup-tie, like the Dunfermline one could be another eye-opener. Over the 90, the Pars should have faced Hibs in the next round and would have put up a better show than us. If we lose to Dundee we are all but down. The Fun could all but relegate us tomorrow. Until we get 4-5 quality players in, our cause is lost. If they don't come in soon, like the next week or so, they'd be as well not coming in. It will be a waste of money.

You can make great players useless, but you can't make useless players great! Therein lies the dilemma. I suppose "f----ing useless" makes the situation even worse?

These players never reacted for Jackie either, the majority of them are shite and not premier league standard. Hence our league position.

Its frustrating as fuck watching the likes of Durnan and the pole starting but what other options have we had up to now ? Hee haw !

I love watching United on arabzone...

Not blaming our predicament on the manager offshore mate.  Just reporting on what I saw which wasn't very good.  I wouldn't want him in charge in the championship either mate.  We are paying wages all over the shop so ST going for the cheap option was another monster of a bad call.
