As we await Mr Hainey's PPT thread getting updated after the latest capitulation, It's time for the second of my monthly polls to see who thinks we will remain BOTTOM; and thus not even have a Play Off roll of the dice; and who does not. Novembers results from 77 votes cast was YES 43% WITH 33 VOTES; and NO 57% WITH 44 VOTES!

I'm sticking with NO, but anything other than a Derby win and I reckon it's tatties.

Not a chance we're staying up I'm afraid

Voted No. Still think we've got a chance of catching the team above us. Shows you what I think of my own so-called projections.

Yes we are down some say we don't get the breaks well yes we do twice we have had another team down to 10 men with lots of time left result .....1 point ...we have had countless pens which shows we are getting the the rub of the green.. It's not unlucky that we have 2 of the worst goalies ever to play for us ( why wasn't mark mcallum pitched in tonight I assume his loan is up at livi ) let's face it mixu was 4/5 choice and he hasn't made a real difference yes we play a different system yes we look a bit fitter and organised but bottom line his record is absolutely shocking in fact I'd go as far to say it's a record that would get most managers sacked . I just hope there is a relegation clause in his contract that gives the the club a way out . Sorry to be so pessimistic but it's how I see it having followed for over 50 yrs I've seen it all and we are going nowhere under mixu . Hi is our manager and it doesn't matter how bad the playing staff is he inherited it's his job to sort it and as of yet he hasn't

We basically need to win half our remaining games to finish 11th. Just can't see how anyone thinks that's possible with the dross that's being served up.

We are down.

Down I'm afraid and unfortunately I don't see a quick return.

Voted 'no' but the vote so far reflects what folk were saying at the game last night. I thought going forward we were troubling Hearts, but free gifts cost the match,
However, I'm beginning to think Mixu sees qualities in certain defenders that I don't recognise.

Going down like Monica Lewinsky

I'm going to put our fate in the hands of the derby.
Win we will finish 10th.
Draw we will finish 11th.
Defeat we will finish 12th.
Hibs and Huns will come up this year so if we go down we will come straight back up, with ease.
Hamilton/Killie and Falkirk will be our biggest threats in that league.
Hamilton/Killie. And Falkirk.
And Falkirk.
Falkirk Ffs.
I'm drunk on optimism of getting this clusterfuck of a year over. And whisky.

several times over the past few weeks ive went from down to survival to down to survival.
The survival decision i made was me being delusional.
We are fucked. Down we go.

You seriously think we'd come back with ease? I think we'd struggle.

Totally agree with B&T on this. If we go down I can't see a quick return either.
Wouldn't say we're fucked yet but we'll be reliant on one or two clubs being as shit between now and the end of the season as we've been up until now......plus we need to improve a bell of a lot.
New keeper should make a difference but we need at least a couple of decent players in....and soon, not by the end of the month.

We need to put together a run that teams who finish second put together whilst relying on 2 clubs to put together a run that we've had since August. Just can't see it happening. Too many poor players in that team

I'm absolutely basing survival on blind optimism but if we go down there is absolutely no reason why we shouldn't come straight back up.
We will have a budget as big as Hibs in that league, with less competition than Hibs faced in their two seasons down.
We may need to start again but most of our high earners are out of contract, we will reduce the squad considerably and we've some decent kids that we need a few seasoned pros around.
I can't see where the "we're fucked" sentiment comes from.

Our budget will be less than hibs when we go down.
That will reduce. Season ticket and pay st the gate will drop. Tv money will drop.
Offline
Crowds went up last time we were relegated.
Offline
The Thompson factor wasn't there the last time, it will impact on season tickets and pay at the gate next season.

Alot if fans are well fucked off and i doubt they woukd increase next season.

When we go down the whole club needs a root and branch clearout from top to bottom otherwise we'll go down next season as well. Too many losers and crocks at the club.

Next year will be very difficult in the 1st division, believe it or not there's some decent sides in there and we'll struggle to improve on the squad we have.
No doubt STs will go down as well, prob by about 1000.

It will reduce, no doubt, for all the reasons you said and more.
Relatively though. Just now we have the 3rd or 4th biggest budget in the league, next year (if we go down) we will have the biggest by far.
Biggest budget.
Biggest home crowds.
Biggest away crowds.
Biggest squad.
I'm not saying we will piss the league but I don't see anything to fear, we'll win the league or beat Partick in a play-off, guaranteed
