Injuries

What the F is going on at our club. We have a dreadful history with injuries and player recovery.

Latest update is that it wil another month until Dixon is back, Erskine and Morris have no return date as yet, Paton out until Christmas at earliest and Bilate out for the rest of the season.

Re: Injuries

Dow was rushed back too early, they got a psychologist to tell him he was fit, then threw him in the team without even as much as a Reserve Game.

Incredible stuff.

Re: Injuries

Dixon's a strange one like.

Was reported as needing a Hernia op.

Not that big a deal really.Olofsson got one back in the day and played 10 days later (and scored 2 v Celtic).

All our players seem to be very slow healers.

Morris also has suffered a set-back incidentally.

Re: Injuries

I've had 2 hernias over the years. Wee tear in the lining, ended up with bowels pushing down into my bah sack. Gruesome lol. But took me 8weeks before I was allowed to so much as jog.

Fair enough maybe Olofsson was just a machine then.

Rushing Ryan Dow back early is the last thing I'd be doing

Re: Injuries

They should have got the psychologist to convince him that he was a footballer he is the exact opposite of what utd need at the moment

He was.  What would we give to have the big man in the team now?

Re: Injuries

Paton was reported for months as being back playing 'at Christmas',where is he?

Also... Ryan Dow... WTF is he? You hear nothing of him or his progress or lack thereof.

Re: Injuries

Dow was reported to be out for the season, every cloud and all that.

Re: Injuries

I asked Paton and Dow (sitting together in stand) when they were likely to be back at the St Johnstone game and got a blank stare from Dow and Paton rubbing his knee saying something along the lines of "I don't know, cannae rush it, I'm injured ".

Basically a "fuck off pal" moment.

Ibiza?

Pretty much take Utds first estimate and times it by 3? That's normally about the right length of time.

Re: Injuries

Had to trek back a little bit too find this thread.

Has Pongolle dissapeared off the face of the earth or what? The usual DUFC 'out for around two weeks' turning in to another two month job. Haven't seen him mentioned for the reserves / dev team either unless I missed it. Thought he looked quite decent for the 15 minutes I or so I saw of him at Tannadice.

Re: Injuries

Pongolle has been back training for the past few weeks seemingly.  I'd expect him to be playing in the next development game at least.

Too much commotion
