Was a top player a decade ago.

Went to Sporting Lisbon for 4.5million and has nearly 50 caps for Romania.

But as said above he's nearly 35 now. Would be surprised if we're looking at someone so old. But you never know.

Mixu does seem keen to want to fill the team with experienced pro's

Aye, seems to be going from one extreme to the other TEK.

I guess beggers can't be choser's and that but going from a team of kids to near retirement age isn't ideal.

I suppose it's all about the short term just now, keep us up by any means necessary then start again in June.
